I graduated from UNC a year before Danny and was wondering what you guys felt about him. While watching him play I thought he would be the best NBA player out of his classmates and would be a solid 6 or 7th man off the bench. Do you guys think he has any potential for your squad long term?
Also stumbled across this shirt today and thought it was hilarious

I have high aspirations when it comes to DG. The little bit that I saw of him last season, I thought he looked collected on the court, and had a nice activity level for a wing. If he improves his shooting and handle, I can see him being a Anthony Parker (prime) type player. I think he can be the type of shooting guard that defends, handles the ball when needed, and is also capable of hitting an open shot. I am very interested to see what he does with extended minutes.

He's got a great shooting stroke and never seemed to be one of those guys who plays too fast for the game. If anything he seems a bit slow for the game. He's a bit of a tweener in my opinion because he is more of a SF in a SG's body. Still I think he can be a key contributor for this team. Expecting anything more than a 6th or 7th guy off the bench might be asking too much, although I guess with the rebuilding our team is going through he might even be pushed into a starting role from time to time.
He's pretty much exactly what a rebuilding team needs, a talented young player who isnt good enough to win you a ton of games.

I think he has a brief opportunity to start even if ideally he would top out at a 6th or 7th guy. He does everything pretty well, but nothing exceptionally - usually that means bench player. I haven't seen enough from him offensively to believe he'd be a 6th man. 7th or 8th guy probably once we get a couple more legitimate starters on the team.
