"If I was a fan and I was on the outside looking in, I could be upset a little bit if one of my favorite players left," James said. "Or if I felt like he betrayed us or whatever the case may be. But you have to get over it."

Sounds like the "King Of Quit" should get over it!
See thats the one thing this idiot kid didn't realize when he lied about the elbow and quit on his team in the playoffs last year. He did it, so he has to live with it till he's gone from this earth.
Dude can win the next 10 titles and people, not just Cavs fan will still bring up "the debacle" and his stupidity over the last year when mentioning him. Hell, plenty of people hated him before he decided to take his ego to North Cuba.
As a fan we know the crap he pulled, and ya gotta know, every one of his teammates from last yr. knows he tanked in the Boston series.
It will all come out after most of his former team mates retire or move on. He can't pay off everybody. Hopefully not Brian W., who one day will have a hell of a tell all book!

Fans don't need his permission to be upset with him.
People will forgive and forget at their own pace. Collectively, if you look at the Boozer situation Cleveland fans have proven they're willing to hold that initial grudge for a few years. Hopefully LeBron comes in and takes his medicine (rather than dodging us Like Boozer did) and it will all be over that much sooner.
Of course that will require him to reverse his rather lengthly streak of stupidity. Everytime the guy opens his mouth more poeple hate him, and he keeps relying on his idiot management group to guide him through this. Would be nice if he brought some quality P.R. people on board.

Ohh my, I think fans are ovre you Lebron. The fans are trying to get ready to watch their team play another year of hoops, but you will not let fans get over becasue you open your stupid piehole every chance you get. Fans are over you, but they do not have to like you or will they for the most part. I thin Lebron needs to get over it more than anyone else. Look in that mirror and get over it LBJ and win that title as a hopalong like everyone will always say about you as your final legacy.

Sounds more like Lebron can't get over it that he made such an Ahole out of himself and still thinks he is in control and can dictate how a fans feel about him after his public knifing on National T.V. with BSPN's Decision. Prince Lebron is the one stirring the pot here... get over it Lebron and admit to yourself that you and your amateur marketing team made a big mistake in how you handled free agency.

This guy is unbelievable. Every time Cavs fans try to move on, James interjects by saying something about Cleveland. For a guy that says we should "get over it," he is sure stuck on talking about the "decision" and the subsequent fallout. The only thing that has changed since James left is that I don't have to look at his ugly mug when I go downtown.
Everyone except Heat fans see through his BS. The general public is over LeBron.

You're new around here so I'm giving you a brief break, but let me give you some advice: it's not the best idea to post comments such as that. It's known as baiting and is extremely frowned on around here. In short. Don't do it again!

Not a Cavs fan, but I am very happy to see a lot of you guys stuck around for your team. Many of the more vocal Cavs "fans" on RealGM seem to have bolted.
Magic fans stuck it out when they lost Shaq, and look at them now. Patience and you guys will be back in a few years.

I didnt read anything in the edge's quote that said he "disgusted" Mo or anyone else. Or that his former teammates hated him either. Way to read whatever you want into somebody elses post. Most of us fans have indeed had enough (moved on), so save your self righteous b/s for someone who will actually buy your imagined premise that we havent moved on.
The op isnt a Cavs fan and may well have been looking to start something over nothing, much like you with your comment. Looks like he succeeded.

He probably killed the Cavaliers franchise and the NBA in the city of Cleveland if not all of Ohio, so really he should stfu and deal with the hate like Art Modell did.
I'm a Heat fan, but he really just needs to stfu.

I'm with you on the stfu thing, but the franchise and basketball will survive here in ohio. Just a setback, we didnt win anything while Lecon was here anyway so nothing changed in that regard.

That thread is for all the fans from other fanbases who keep coming our boards and starting threads about him. The mods then move their threads into that post where they belong. I know most people just want to avoid that crap so we throw it all in one thread so it can be ignored.
