tremendous support last night from the q faithful. won't have that tomorrow to fuel us along. can't have a letdown after all the momentum and goodwill that we picked up against the celtics.

i think these road contests will be where we need to lean on jamison and mo (hopefully he's healthy)

Only 11 more wins needed to reach Yahoo's "expert" prediction of 12 wins for our Cavs. According to the haters on realgm, this is the first volley of the "worst teams in the league", so this should be a close game unlike the blowout we were supposed to receive at the hands of the Celtics last night.
Anyway, I am looking forward seeing how this team responds on the road for the first time.
Should be 2-0, go Cavs.

Does anyone know the status of Varajao? I read that he was day-to-day.

He always destroys the Raptors. The guy averages at least 239420 rebounds per game against us :(

Cause your front court is bunch of girls, even before Bosh, which is why we'll win this.

Also, the crowd for the boston game was great. I know it's only the first game of the season but we still looked to have one of the best crowds in the league. I've never been but when i visit U.S i def gonna make a trip to the Q.

I heard that Varejao is absent, but I'm not sure. We'll definitely need him.

Varejao is listed as "doubtful".

Mo is listed as "questionable".

Doesn't matter. Not really a team that has a front court presence threat. At all. I mean if we had it, definitely have a huge advantage over them, but it's not something we need at a must such as the game with Boston.

Kimbo Slice will take care of all the balls. Be afraid.

Well I hope your front court is tough, because when Reggie comes down from a rebound attempt, he is going to make sure he rips down at least one ball.

Good luck Cavs. game will be tough without AJ.

Congrats on great win vs Boston. Most NBA fans will be pulling for you this year. If you had a decent SF you would be a lock for the playoffs.

Strange for some reason I feel like our schedule one of the last few years was virtually identical - we played BOS in game 1 and then had @TOR.

I think we take this one. I watched TOR play in the preseason and they looked pretty awful. Bad defense, no low post presence, and they were basically going to Bargniani as their 1st option. I realize it was preseason but that has all the makings of a rough season for them.

I think we see strong play from Hickson again.

Lol you were not watching raptors preseason games if that's your assessment.

^Well admittedly I only watched a game you guys played against CHI (I live in CHI now so was at the game) and it was an ugly showing. CHI was getting whatever they wanted on offense and TOR was looking pretty bad out there.

Small sample size and preseason, and our situation isn't all that much better  , I'm just sayin.

So we are without our top 2 our 2 out of 3 (depending on how you rank them) players.

We'll need some of our bench bigs to step up tonight.
