daniel gibson, anderson varejao, jamario moon, jawad williams, mo williams, jj hickson, anthony parker, antawn jamison, ramon sessions, ryan hollins....you're all free to go.
after tonight, i can't look at any of you anymore. so get your **** and get to stepping...don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
hopefully our next starting lineup includes manny harris, christian eyenga, samardo samuels, leon powe and a fan contest winner

Seriously! I was so embarrassed for Cav fans that I had to switch over to Eagles vs Texans game. It was uncomfortable to watch the way that team just rolled over. Gilbert must be out of his mind right now knowing that he can't do a thing to the players because they all have guaranteed contracts.

The Cavaliers lost some fans last night. I can tell you that right now.
Our biggest problem is that our four best players are Mo, Andy, JJ, and Jamison

I was rooting hard for Cleveland to whip some tail and they rolled over!
I wasn't surprised they lost, but they didn't even put up a fight like they usually do. Very disappointing and embarrassing.

I wanna make a comment, not just to the OP, but all Cavs fans.
How can you guys basically want to cold heartedly dump all the guys who are out there talking about bringing cleveland back and uplifting this fan base, and who realistically have shown a ton of heart this season and overperforming as a team given their lack of a true star or leader?
Really, Mo Williams BEGGED to not be traded during the off season. Anderson Varejao has been wrecklessly throwing his body around like a stunt man for this team for the last few years. Daniel Gibson has been speaking nothing but positive things all off season through all the turmoil..I felt you guys opening video was inpsirational and moving to show that the cav's team is still strong in spirit. But these guys are expendable simply because they are not as talented as Lebron James. Big Z was expendable after he was no longer able to carry a team..You can cheer him in good conscience because he is in his twilight. Big Z was shipped away as a trading chip last season for Jamison. It was not 100% certain that he would be back. How can you really talk about loyalty when this is how things work in the NBA and youre fine with it?
Lebron James was a free agent, and made a career move. Sure, it was bone headed and in bad taste how he did it, but its not any more cold than how franchises do players who want to be a part of a team and a city's franchise culture every single year in the NBA. Its a business, and its a career for the players. The fans have been brutal. Attacking his mother relentlessly. Its really gotten sad to see..
I really think its time to move on to another chapter. You need to get behind the guys who WANT to be in Cleveland and putting their bodies on the line every night for your team. Im fans of alot of the players on your team and think they are a great group of guys and a great core in need of a real leader. But this was ONE game. Lebrons new team won. So the hell what? Its 82 games this season. That one loss didnt end your season.

Lebron's buddies need to go. It's ridiculous that we're getting pounded by 30 and Lebron is chatting during foul shots with Gibson and Andy. Get rid of Andy- he's valuable and is our team really going to suffer anymore without him?
Gibson is not more than a backup point guard on a bad team.
AP just doesn't fit the team- dump him
Dump all the starters, bring in some young prospects, lose from here on out and get some draft picks.

First overreaction thread of the season. If I had it my way, I would look to use a combination of Mo/Jamison/Moon/Parker/TPE to either upgrade at SG or SF.
Gibson/Sessions
/Manny Harris
/Graham
Hickson/Powe
Varejao/Hollins

As a Knick fan I know what disapointment feels like. I gotta say that the fans did their part last night. It's a damn shame those players not only embarrased the city, but also basketball fans around the nation. I never saw a team take a beating like that and smile about it. All those guys blew it.

I feel for you guys. You fans stepped up and your team punked out. I cannot stand all of the smiles and chummy attitudes on the bench as the guy that pissed on them, their team, and their city comes back to roll them. You guys should have signed Matt Barnes in the off-season if for no other reason than to closeline LeQuit as he steamrolled down the lane the first time.
Hang in there Cleveland fans, you deserve better.

Another case of somebody coming here making statements that he hasnt researched.. Did you even bother to look back to see what we were saying at the time of the Z trade? NO, obviously you didnt. Mo begged not to be traded, then spoke about retiring this offseason fyi, so get our facts straight on that too. This team bent over and smiled last night. Nobody here is happy about it.
Go preach somewhere else, I really dont understand all of the douchebags that come here to tell us Cavs fans how we should feel or act. What gives you the moral highground to call out anybody else, are you Mother Theresa going under an assumed name? This team laid down in the playoffs last year as well, so the fans being pissed about these guys being soft have a right to be pissed. Weve seen this act before, only last time Lecon was leading the retreat.

The media, Cav fans and everyone around the league, not associated with Miami and several Cleveland players was booing LeBron and showing Cleveland respect and support..
Message for the disloyal players, the Cav players that looked like they were ready to give LeBron a welcome back kiss on his ass: "At least pretend like you care about the city and support your fans." This is the problem, they don't care to pretend.
This is was suppose to be an intense game. They should definitely hear from Scott and Dan Gilbert.

For the first time in my life I realized that I was truly happy.......then I remembered I was drunk.

Im not going to stoop to personal attacks, but I will respond to you..
Actually, I was right here watching, I wasnt registered yet, but I have been regularly checking this board for several years and following the cavs since the mark price/brad daugherty days. I'm a fan of the game of basketball first and foremost. The people who bring me my enjoyment of basketball are the players. I'm a big fan of many of the players on the cavs, today and in years past. I am still a big fan of Andy, Mo, Boobie, Hickson, Jamario, ....and im a fan of Lebron James, Delonte West, Big Z.
I remember during the Z trade everyone hated to see him go, and kinda knew that he would likely return, but it was no guarantees. But nobody was losing sleep over it, everyone was happy about the shiny new penny in Antawn Jamison and the prospects of him being a game changer that there wasnt much sadness about Z..it was more of an icing on the cake if he could come back.. Neither would anyone lose sleep any non franchise player were dealt no matter how much love they have for the team.
Mo Williams DID lose sleep over last nights game. He was tweeting at 5:30am that he was still awake struggling with that loss. While most of the fans were sound asleep going on with their lives. And some today are yelling TRADE HIM. Yet he is the one who really can "feel" this loss. He is the one who really can feel a part of his team missing. He is the one who can really feel that his future is in the hands of someone else who might decide to send him to any of a number of cities in the US or Canada for the right offer tomorrow night.
My point is...these guys are real people. I sympathise with these players because however hard you think their life decisions are on you, it doesnt effect you in any measurable way other than a team you like to root for may lose or win more games. To you its entertainment and bragging rights, to them its their lives and careers.
As a fan of the cavs, boo lebron, yell at lebron, act out however you feel will help your team. But when the game is over, move the hell on and support your team. Dont run his family out of town...dont disrespect his mother with billboards and tee shirts. Dont waste your energy trying to tear someone else down, use it to build your own team up.
The more your franchise gets lost in a cloud of hate and negativity the worse it looks to the outside world, and the more cleveland will carry a stigma of a city to avoid ....and you know who is watching from the outside world? Your future talent, your next franchise leader, your next owner, coach or general manager, your next generation of fans, etc.
You are not hurting Lebron at this point, Lebron is moving foward. So should the cleveland cavs.

As a Magic fan, I have only hate in my heart for Mo Williams. That said, I thought he was one of the few guys who seemed to care about the situation last night. Joey Graham as well.
Good luck the rest of the way.

i probably should have clarified that mo belongs in his own category. i will never doubt his determination or dedication to this team, he just never shows up in big games (i think there was a series in 09 that you might be familiar with lol).
i was proud mo actually understood that lebron wasn't saying "**** off" to the cleveland fans with his tv special like the rest of the team apparently thought, but he was really saying "the cavs weren't good enough."
and who could blame him? boobie, av, jawad, jamario, parker and jj treated this game like "oh hey cool lebron's back. look he's dominating, it's just like the old times. yay!!!" give me mo's suckitude in big games over these jackoffs any day of the week...at least he cared
i'll always be a fan of the name on the front of the jersey, it's the names on the back of players associated with the lebron years that i can no longer support (mo williams aside). that effort was shameful

And one more thing guys, go check out the Cavaliers Practice Cam videos from today.
It may look a certain way on TV but you don't know what's been said, ya they laughed but who knows they probably told LeBron, while he decided to go South, his mom was riding West.
You know?

Hi, I have a question for anyone willing to answer. I saw in a RGM GiF last night where Mo basically gave LeBron the cold shoulder, and LeBron was surprised, and I was impressed with Mo. But then if you watch the game in 2 minutes or w/e it is on NBA.com you'll see LeBron hugging Mo. What's up with that?

Re: The Official Get The Hell Off This Team Thread
It's time to overhaul. This is a team of disjointed role players built around the heart of the team in Lebron who is now gone. The good news is that a lot of these guys have a lot of value around the league, Varejao, Mo, Hickson (sorry, not a fan, just doesn't rebound or defend well enough for a PF), Jamison, Sessions, Boobie, etc. If we move most these guys we can stockpile draft picks and some young prospects who may turn into something.
As for loyalty the Cavs are a business franchise, they are not misleading or deceiving anyone with false promises, nor are they embarassing anyone by moving any of these guys, unlike the way Lebron treated the Cavs.
BTW, Lebron can gloat all he wants that the Heat are better than the Cavs (with 3 superstars to zero) but what's lost in all of the hoopla of last night's game is that the Heat are still a flawed team that have nearly zero shot at winning the title.

Re: The Official Get The Hell Off This Team Thread
I was embarrassed by the Cavs last night. They acted like a bunch of scared p*ssies. The attitude of today's NBA players is sickening. I think last night's game really turned off alot of folks against the NBA.
With that said the Heat do have some major flaws. Any team with a quick PG or a big physical frontline can beat them but unfortunately the Cavs don't have those type of players. No way the Heat get past teams like Boston or LA in a 7 game playoff series.
