what is true revenge worth?

Cavs fans would you make trades with Boston for the sake of blockng Miami from wining a title? I think
Danny G is just crazy enough to do it! I would love to see Lebron go down as a Karl Malone, Charles Barkley Patrick Ewing esque. Player who could never be considered the greatest because he could not win a title. So would you make a deal with the green devil?

I don't think we'd make a deal just to help someone beat LeBron. I don't think we have enough talent on this team to pull it off even if we wanted to anyway.

Cavaliers certainly wouldn't help the Heat get better, but beyond that I hope their only interest is making the Cavaliers better.

Yeah, if its Jamison that will get you over the hump. A first and an expiring or two (Perkins maybe?) and we would be glad to help you guys beat the cHeat.

Are you seriously this scared Boston that you would beg another team to help you win. This is the faith you got in your team wow. Boston is good enough to beat the Heat without help frm Cleveland. B E Z

I would dump any player on our team for more picks in the future. If it can help LeBron fail in the process then absolutely. I **** hate the Heat and what they did to the NBA. I dont even watch basketball much anymore because the **** with the Heat and Carmello just makes me sick. Selfish players are ruining the sport.

Unless you're taking in Jamison in exchange for crap, then there's not much the Cavaliers can do to help. I would rather have Perkins any day LOL.

This part sums it all up for me, Thanks Murdock!

Trully a sad post. People you cannot mix good with evil and expect it to work in your favor. Instead of trying so hard to get even we need to put that focus and energy into simply getting better. The more our attention is on getting back at a player who is long gone the worse the team that is actually here will do. The more we wish injury on other teams players, the more our own team will suffer. It really is time to move on .

That is another example of someone posting before knowing what they are talking about. I don't know of anyone on this board that has wished anything negative on the Heat. Frankly, revenge isn't worth anything. However, I could definitely see the Cavs trying to unload players that are much better playing with a contender than they'd be playing for the Cavs. That's not trying to hurt Miami, that's trying to help Cleveland.

Well, fwiw I cant see the Cavs moving a player to the Heat to help them out. We can wish the Heat loses just as we can root for the Yankees or Red Sox or Steelers to lose. Thats just being a fan. Do I want to see Lecon hit buy a falling piano? Not really, but I probably couldnt help but think that Karma is a B, if you know what I mean.
I personally dont devote any time to wishing bad things on others, but am not above being amused when Karma rears its head.

That's how the Indians once operated and look where it got them.

The best revenge is to win a title and watch Lebron never win one.

Do the Cavs even have any players that would be good enough to be in Boston's playoff rotation?

Here's what I think their playoff rotation would be like:

Rondo/Robinson
Allen/Daniels
Pierce/Daniels
KG/Davis
Perkins/Shaq/Jerm

Jamison might get scraps at SF and PF.
Mo might get scraps at backup PG.

Those 2 guys might get 5-10 mpg combined for Boston. I doubt other current Cavs would get any minutes at all.

It's pretty silly to argue that Robinson is better than Mo so yeah, no doubt that a Cavalier player would be in their rotation. Not to mention that you actually do already have Shaq and Delonte who are ex Cavaliers.

Who argued that Robinson was better than Mo? Nobody, but you erected a straw man for some reason. My stating of the fact that Mo would get spot minutes at backup pg hardly is an argument that Mo is better than Robinson, and you're just plain wrong for interpreting it that way. (That said, you shouldn't minimize Robinson's familiarity with his teammates (and vice versa) and Boston's systems. Doc Rivers certainly wouldn't blow off such considerations, so Mo quite obviously wouldn't claim all of the backup minutes right away, if ever. Mo would get scraps at backup pg behind the vastly superior Rondo, splitting time at the position with Robinson.)

You also falsely assumed I was a Celtics fan. I hate the Celtics and have been a Cavs fan since the mid 90's.

West is injured and I didn't list him in Boston's playoff rotation. Your mentioning of him is random and irrelevant. Shaq isn't relevant, either.

No sense in directing your bitterness at fellow Cavs fans.

Hey fellas, it's interesting to see this post, as we've just been talking about the same thing over on the Boston boards......an idea that was thrown up just recently was this:

Nate/JO/Daniels for
Mo Williams/Parker/Moon

personally, I think we are short changing you unless we gave you BBD (don't worry we're not all sitting over there thinking 'he he he we got em' by any means, we are all realistic, the majority of us would just love to somehow get Parker from ya's)

considering JO and Danie's injury situation right now, this would definitely be a 'favour' trade I think

If the CAVs are not getting rebuilding pieces, there is No reason to consider offers that don't help in the rebuild. The CAVs are not recruiting for the Cleveland clinic to get Daniels and JO. Prince Lebron isn't part of the equation anymore going forward for the CAVs.

Nate is younger than Mo by a couple years
