He's not a guy most people would consider 'building around'. That phrase is generally a reference to acquiring a star or future star then adding complimentary pieces. Eyenga is not going to be a star in the league.
That said, I certainly agree that he's probably got a bright future and we should hang onto the guy. My thought is that if a guy can be a rotation guy in three years you hang onto him. Eyenga, Gibson, Andy, Hickson, and Sessions all qualify and there's no reason not to wait on Harris to see how he turns out.

I agree that we should hold onto Eyenga, but as Tidho said, Gibson, Andy and Hickson are all players worth holding on to. Hickson has had some very good games, he just needs to be a 3rd option or so.

I'm not saying he's not tradeable heck everyone on the team is tradeable. I just don't think we need to necessarily trade him unless we get a deal that's good for us.

im saying that pretty much everone else on the team should be being shopped for anything that would help the franchise out, whether it be dumping a contract like jamison or williams even if it means giving up a guy like hickson or sessions it would be a small price to pay.

ok, why?
Why would you trade Hickson to dump Jamison's contract? Jamison expires next season (and is still one of the team's best players). Is there someone you're going to get this off season with that money? With a little patience Jamison may be extremely valuable as a trade asset next year.
