JJ Hickson

Post#1 » by tidho » Wed Mar 2, 2011 4:28 pm

Two thoughts. First, I'm going to marry the t-mobile girl.

More importantly, do you think JJ Hickson has figured it out and turned the corner?

Season Averages:
26.8 minutes, 12.6 points, 7.9 boards, 0.8 blocks.

February Averages (11 games):
35.9 minutes, 18.4 points, 11.5 boards, 1.5 blocks.

That's a pretty nice trend for a guy stuck in Scott's dog house earlier in the year. Think Coach Scott actually helped this guy with tough love?

Unfortunately no. The kid has no Basketball IQ and quite honestly I would hope he continues to play well so we can deal him in the offseason.

I think he has played great ball. But I fear it is short lived.

T-Mobile girl seems like the the next door type. I like em kinda dirty LOL

I am looking forward to watching Baron Davis run our offense. I think Hickson will excel, and hopefully his FG% will go up with some easy buckets.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I think we have one more year with Hickson on a rookie deal. It will be scary how much he will ask for IMO.

What he asks for and what he gets are two very different numbers.

I think in the open market he could easily get 8 million a year. I think thats his bottom number.

I just do not know if he is worth that.......

Lets see what Jeff Green gets this summer. I think thats what Hickson gets dollars wise.

If he keeps putting up 18 & 11 he's worth the $8M.

I might be a little hard on the kid - but if he is playing with little motivation making a few million a year. I have a feeling he will fall way off after getting his big contract.......
