Geez, once the team won a couple of games it must have gotten good to them. It really didn't matter since Minnesota was alreadly losing, and it's always good to beat Washington.

I think the Heat did worse then everyone expected. I also hope the Cavs do not touch free agents this summer.

Hoping to lock up that top 5 for next year?
We have so many players under contract, and 4 picks to add, I can't see us spending free agent money next year either. Only a couple ways I can see it happening. If we bundle 3 or more together to take on some bad money and another pick, or end up not adding a wing in the first round and are just so thing there we feel obligated to backfill for Parker and (presumably) Graham.

For me, free agency is a tool best used to fill voids on your roster. Given we have several of those voids, and a lot of our roster's future is uncertain, spending on free agents makes no sense at this point. Plus, we would potentially be spending our way out of the lottery, which would be pretty counterproductive at this point of the rebuild.

How in the world did Minnesota end up with the worst record in the league?

That is why I want us to be cautious about only building through the draft. The PD had a good Q and A which basically said the Wolves had 6 top 10 picks in the last decade and the Clips have been in the lottery 12 of the past 13 years.
