meh, it's not like they tried to sign him after the Cavs won the first pick...they just tried to sign who they thought will be a future star to their marketing agency, not gonna read too deep into that...BUT I LOVE that Irving turned down LeBron's douchey agency...makes me wanna draft him NOW haha

I guess that the firm he ended up signing with pursued him completely different than the other firms. Most of them talked about shoe deals and commercials, the one he chose talked to him about the importance of giving back to the community, doing charity, and being a gentleman.

He seems like a great guy. I would be honored to have this man play for my team.

Yep. The agent he ended up choosing is a far more important story than the agent's he declined (including LBJ's company). He's a hell of a player and his off-the-court mentality is exactly the type of player the Cavs should be building around. I can't wait to see him on the court wearing a Cavs jersey....whenever that may be.

LeBron is trying to start a full fledged Athletic Marketing and Agent firm, I'm sure they've tried to sign quite few people. I don't however see what this has to do with the Cavaliers.

And neither do I.
