Game 1: Cavs vs. Raptors | Mon, Dec 26th | 7:00 PM ET

Post#1 » by Rise Against » Mon Dec 26, 2011 8:29 am

So after a fairly long lockout, the shortened season finally begins for us.

Sorry I don't have the time to make a nice game thread. If anyone wants to make them, feel free to do so.

Post your guys' thoughts on the game. I am really excited to see Irving and Thompson play.

P.S. No trolling will be allowed from Raptor fans.

Irving gets the start. Scott wants Sessions to help out the super young second unit.

Hoping you guys pull out the win, I expect Irving to have an awesome first game against Jose. Thompson actually looked decent in preseason, to be honest he reminds me of Tyrus Thomas, but what are your thoughts on him?

He plays pretty smart. Thomas could have been good if he didn't bite on every pump fake and go airborn. Thompson is a much more controlled player, and is probably even longer.

Hopefully a 15 and 10 guy who blossoms into a key piece.

And we're here folks. We close one era and starting another. I expect a good hard fought game tonight. It's float or swim for Kyrie as he gets the start tonight. Here's to a season of reasonable expectations and hoping that we take this season to get better.

Poor shooting from both teams.. Irving hasn't scored in the first. He only has 2 assists. Would have been much more.

This may be a bit early to say this... But if Irving keeps playing like this, Sessions might take his starting spot.

Lol. I just have high expectations of the kid. That's all. I am sure he will pick it up eventually.
