Most memorable Cavs moments/games?

Post#1 » by Nirvana » Thu Feb 16, 2012 2:33 am

What are your favorite Cavs moments or games?

These are some that I thought of:

I was going nuts during this game (LBJ 16 points in 2 minutes):

LeBron's 25 pts in a row, 29/30 vs the Pistons in playoffs in 2007. I was at prom on this night. We had a TV with the game on and I watched almost the whole game, definitely saw the dramatics at the end. Apologies to my date. The dunk at 2:54 was incredible, also the jumper at 9:02.

(Also, forgot how much I hated Drew Gooden and his ducktail hair cut.)

Big Z fighting Ostertag at 0:52 mark. No explanation needed

Delonte dunking on T-Mac. Delonte is easily one of my favorite Cavs.

Daniel Gibson dunking vs. Pacers

Mo Williams dunk on Pierce

Don't forget Delonte's dunk on Josh Smith.

Off the top of my head...

LeBron's game winning 3 against the Magic.

LeBron's game winning layup against the Wizards in game 5 of 06 playoffs.

Damon Jones game winning 3 in the next game.. He didn't even play until the closing seconds.

The Cavs beating the Pistons in game 6 to advance to the NBA Finals.

Even though we lost, I really enjoyed the Cavs and Celtics series in 08.

When the Cavs blew out the Lakers on Christmas a couple years ago.. I was enjoying every minute of that game. The defense was amazing.

Z's return after being traded to the Wizards.

The Cavs making that last minute blockbuster trade to get rid of Larry Hughes, Donyell Marshall, etc.

Cavs getting the 1st and 4th pick.

BTW, no trolling will be allowed.

edit: and this is just kind of a personal one.... but in 1993 I won this Sherwin Williams contest to shoot at halftime during a Cavs Bulls game, got to meet MJ, Price, Pippen, Daugherty, etc...and still have the ticket stub. Having my own piece of the Richfield Coliseum is something I'll never get rid of

Saw Jordan play a couple of times, booed everytime he touched the ball (didnt help). Saw lebron score 40 his rookie season. But the most memorable (and embarassing) was the game Ehlo hit the game ending three against Utah. I was there with my brother, and thinking the game was over went to the john where I was relieving myself when he hit the shot. The place went crazy and.... well I missed the shot. My brother laughed at me all the way home from the Coliseum. He still reminds me of it from time to time.
