Kyrie being Kyrie

I am kind of mirroring the idea of the LeBron being LeBron topic a couple of years ago. But does anyone else have a huge man crush on Irving? I think it's time for some of you guys to come out of the box.
All kidding aside though... I was just looking at this video. And you can tell how intelligent he is as a player and how great of a feel he has for the game. Very impressive. Can't believe he is only 19 years (well he turns 20 tomorrow..) and he is talking and playing like a veteran.
My favorite part is when he talks from 6:37 - 6:49.

I don't think Kyrie has gotten there yet just like the fact that it took LeBron a few years to put up huge numbers that didn't even raise an eyebrow. But man, he's great to watch play. I also think he'll start to get a few more foul calls once refs start to respect him a bit more. The only issue has been the turnovers creeping up again.

He's still from Duke and we all know Duke players don't have what it takes to win it all in the NBA.

He has exceeded everyones expectations of him. His play this year has made him a clear cut number 1 draft pick most years......! Coming in he was projected as being not that great and someone that wouldn't have much impact in this league. Most of us were very very wrong, he will be a perenial all star and an all nba player and usa representative for many years to come

The Issue with Duke players is and always has been that they were finished products because of their coach and the program they came out of. I would think that Hill and Boozer would have disproven that at least for some players. But the fact that Kyrie was only their for 1 season, he couldn't possibly have learned all there was to learn about baskeball or his own talent.
