Biggest Game of the Year: Cavs vs. Wizards (4/25)

Alright ladies and gentlemen... Well probably only gentlemen. I don't think there are any females who post on the Cavs board, or on RealGM for that matter.

This is going to be super tough. This is a must lose. The Cavs cannot afford to win anymore games, if that makes any sense. This game can determine whether we are deciding between drafting MKG, Beal, and Drummond vs. drafting Barnes, Lamb, and Sullinger. The only thing that we can hope for is a tiebreaker for the 3rd unless the Kings and Hornets magically wins their last 2 games while we lose our last 2. Let's stick with the more likely scenario though.. We have the exact same record as the Kings as of 4/23, tied for the 4th worst record. They will most likely be losing their last two games against the Thunder and Lakers.. Which means we will have to lose ours as well so that we don't fall behind them in the lottery standings. The Hornets play the Warriors and Rockets for their last 2 games. We'll see how that goes...

As for this game, Nene will be playing. (Thank god). He has been a difference maker for the Wizards. They did win 4 straight, so maybe they'll have some confidence in beating us. On the Cavs part, this mostly depends on how Kyrie and Jamison will play. Remember we did lose to them with Kyrie playing earlier this season.

We are 0-2 when I use this... Maybe some luck?

Totally agree with ya Rise, the good news is Toronto and NJ play each other in their final game so one of them will win and that team will be 2 wins ahead of the Cavs. How does the tie breaker work? Is it head to head first becasue we lost all 3 times to Toronto and am not sure about NJ tie Breaker would have to look that up?

I am hearing reports that the Cavs have brought back Jiri Welsch just for this game. May the tank be with you!

Why don't the Cavs bring back Luke Jackson, Dajuan Wagner, Ricky Davis, and Darius Miles while they're at it?

Simple Coin Flips for seeding for lottery (2 teams)

3 Teams ties are done by, each team having a coin and fliping at same time.... 3 Heads (try again, no winner), 3 Tails (try again, no winner) ... 2 Tail, 1 Heads (heads wins) or 2 Head, 1 Tail (Tail winner)
Simple coin flip from the remaining 2 teams

So we can get the third spot.

I almost feel dirty, we are not the third worst team in the league.

'Unfortunately' he is out. 48 minute flu. :D
Of course that didn't stop us from mopping the floor with those bums last time. Hopefully Washington musters a little pride and wants this one.

They are already locked in at second worst record, have been playing their best ball of the season and all their key players are playing last I checked.

If we win I will honestly start believing that we haven't been tanking and all of our injuries and the amount of time players were given to rest is legit.

Byron doesn't know how to coach lax...the gm has to take away his players. Kyrie out with gastroenteritis...a bad case of the farts. Love it.

Kyrie might be out. Pretty big win by the Hornets yesterday despite clearly tanking with all their starters out.

Best of luck to you guys, this last win could really build some momentum going into the next season. :D

Would be a huge confidence boost to you guys beating a surging Wizards team. It's too bad Kyrie isn't playing, he could get some good expereince in this game going up against John Wall.

Go Cavs!

:rocking:

That was some blatant tanking.

Scott knows what he's doing.. It would be amazing if Hornets and Kings win tomorrow. Chicago will probably make sure they have the best overall record so we won't have a chance there.

Even a coasting Bulls would tear us apart so I am not worried there.
