How good is/can Kyrie Irving be?
Just curious as an outsider.... How good is Kyrie and do you's see him as a possible AS next year?
From what I see he looks like a cp3 clone.
I'm in a franchise league, and was offered a package headlined by Kyrie for deron Williams... So just trying to get some insight.
Thanks cavs fans.

Irving could be an All-Star next season, but a lot depends on player movement. Rose is out of the picture, but there is still the possibility of Deron and Rondo. Nash could find himself in the Eastern conference, and his stats could spike if he ends up with a contender.
As for how good he can be, I think his playmaking will continue to improve, and if I had to set a ceiling, I would say prime Nash is possible. The kid is a great shooter already, and he appears to have a great head on his shoulders. Get him some talent and he should continue to rise.

Yea I believe he looks to be that as well.
So in your eyes, you'd rather have Kyrie in Cleveland than dwill?

Lets hope so but hes got a long long way to go.
If you take into consider how long it took Nash to reach his prime, Irving is ahead of schedule.

Eh I wouldnt really use Nash as a measuring point for prime. He was kind of an exception to the norm and blossomed late.

He can be elite. I think it's very safe to say he'll be a top 3 PG within 3 seasons.
I brings the ruckus to the ladies!

I suppose that depends on how you look at Nash's development. You have players like Nash and Billups who developed late, but what they really improved were above average PG skills. With Irving already being a very good scorer, I think it is very plausible that he could develop in a similar manner.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I think with Nash it had alot to do with circumstance. Playing with kidd, finley etc. Nash is just a weird comparison for me. They are too different playing wise. Kyrie will be a better scorer, rebounder, lol i hope a better defender. If Kyrie can get anywhere close to nash as a playmaker he will be a real superstar. Not that i doubt kyries gonna have any trouble becoming a good point guard, hes got a good head on his shoulders and hes learning fast.

yeah i'm thinking in his prime he'd be a cp3/billups hybrid...a little scary really.
The worst part of Lebron leaving cleveland? No more MVPuppets.

Re: How good is/can Kyrie Irving be?
I really like Kyrie Irving as a player. He is probably in my top 5 players right now.
I used to live in Toledo, Ohio and went to a ton of Cavs games, but I moved 5 years back to Charlotte. I attend Bobcats game regularly, but I still keep an eye on the Cavs and I really like where the team is going.
I also think Beal is going to be the best of the rest after Davis and am hoping that if the Bobcats dont take him that the trade happens and he goes to Cleveland. I really do not want to see him go to the Wizards. Beal is going to be a stud in the league and worth the number 2 pick in my mind.
Also, what do you guys think of Tristian Thompson, would you pick him over if you could redo the draft.
Its hard being a Bobcats fan down here, because they are so awful, but I still consider Cleveland to be my second team. Hopefully in a few years both teams will be done rebuilding and battling it out in the East over the cHEATers.
