The Nets, Thunder, Bulls, Cavaliers, Mavericks and Thunder are five teams being considered by Derek Fisher.

Fisher finished the 11-12 season with Oklahoma City.

Fisher had previously been in talks with the Knicks until they reached an agreement with Jason Kidd.

The team must still be in tank mode.

No, there's no truth to that, it's just writers naming teams they know.

Fisher is only coming here if no one wants him. He will chase a ring with a playoff team and the Cavs are not that team. I give this 10% chance of happening.

Veteran backup for 15 minutes a game wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Weren't we on his short list because of the Clinic when he signed with the Lakers because his son is sick?

Would be a pretty uninspiring signing though.

David Wesley 2.0. In all seriousness, I am still on board with signing Jonny Flynn to be our backup PG.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

He's pretty awful as a player but I'm sure he could help in other ways. But I'd rather see a guy like Flynn being signed.

Just don't tell Houston, they'll jump in front of us and give him a back loaded contract.
