2012-2013 Cavs Preseason Thread

Post all preseason talk in here. It would be great if someone can inform us on how the team, especially on how young ones are doing.
The Cavs had their first preseason game today, which they won. I didn't catch the game though. It looked like Thompson had some pretty good highlights.

Virtually nobody is going to be getting more than about 20 minutes/game in preseason. And, Waiters doesn't start for the same reason Kyrie didn't start in preseason last year.

Seems like both the rookies played like trash tonight. Coach Scott didn't seem very pleased at all. Ah well, it's only preseason and hopefully they will learn from it.

Waiters and Zeller are playing much better tonight against the Bulls. Guess they learned something from the previous game.

We isn't Waiters getting playing time with Irving? Also, why is he playing backup point? is he going to be starting at SG or did we use a top 4 pick for a backup PG?

I thought that Gibson was the PG and Waiters was the SG when he was on the floor. But then again, Dion did bring up the ball a couple times.

Yea I don't understand why we're not seeing a Waiters/Irving backcourt at all in the preseason. Waiters is playing pretty solid tonight, maybe he learned a lesson from coach Scott yanking him out of the last game. I like Zeller fitting in with this team a lot. A couple pretty dishes from Waiters to Zeller too. I love watching Varejao/Noah battle against each other. They are like twins, probably just irritate each other to death out there.

It's kind of like how we weren't seeing Irving and Thompson playing together much last season. The time will come I guess. But man, the Cavs are now looking like the Bulls from the first half.

Bulls fan here
Dion Waiters is gonna splash a lot of long balls from deep this year for you guys. I remember the pick getting scrutiny so i just wanted to say he could be a gem.

Holy crap. This is just horrendous watching this team try to finish this game off. Can't even get the ball accross half court.
