With Irving out for about a month... This is probably how most Cavs fans feel about the Cavs next 15 or so games.

I would be surprised if this game thread can reach 2 pages.

Waiters settling for way too many jumpers, Is he scared?
TT is really really raw. I'm a huge fan of grants collecting assets, but I'm a little bit worried about our picks(Except Zeller)

Cavs have been getting screwed. No foul calls anywhere and sixers getting away with everything.

99% of the time I'd be pissed if Miles took that transition 3. But that might be the dagger

This is one of those games where every call that could go against us did, but it didnt matter.

Pargo who?! What a surprise performance from him. And Varejao with another beast game on the boards.

This game by Pargo makes me laugh even harder at a select few Philly fans who were touting how great his defense was on Kyrie on Sunday without realizing that Kyrie was playing with a broken hand... Kyrie would absolutely destroy that guy.
Nice to see Dion keep playing hard despite a rough start.

Dion's shot selection has been pathetic. How about you try driving every once in a while Dion?

He just hasn't been able to finish lately. I saw some good signs yesterday however.
We will have many many more opportunities to tank this season. Winning is more fun however

Yeah i didnt think Dion played as badly as his shooting indicated. I'm still feeling pretty good about him.
What about Pargo? Dude killed it. Was good to get a win, don't enjoy losing even if its good tanking reasons.
Side note - Does anyone else think Thompson looks worse offensively this season than last? Dudes been a huge disappointment.

Fans are thinking Dion is going to come in here and light it up like Kyrie did last year, well that is not going to happen and most rookies unless they are truly special do not do that. Dion is only 20 and he is learning the game. I think in 3 years when Dion is old at 23 LOL!! you will see a player who understands the game better and has worked on his jumper. Its still alittle inconsistent but its not horrible. Everyone needs to chill Kyrie,Dion, and Tristan are still so young. I think Dion and Kyrie in 3 year can be one of the best backcourts in the league. I do not think Tristan will be anymore then he already is a solid double double guy. The thing that worries me about Tristan this year is that I have not seen really too much improvement in his game over last year. I still have not seen a jumper and I have never seen a PF get thier shot blocked as much as he gets blocked. The real growth will be going forward is hitting another solid player with the lotto in 2012 draft( since they will more than likely be in the lotto again) and adding through trades,fa and with later draft picks roll and bench players.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about Dion, in fact I am higher on him now than when we drafted him. Tristan however hasnt gotten any better than how he finished last year despite all the hard work the FO told us he had put in over the summer. He still has little touch or finesse around the basket, and he still has terrible hands. Hands of stone.
The team keeps saying that they want him to play like Andy, but other than effort he cant play like Andy, he constantly fumbles the ball around losing rebounds out of bounds, loose balls and passes regularly clank off his hands and I wonder if some of the reason he gets his shot blocked so much is that he cant go up with one hand because he cant hold on to the ball.
I know he is very young, but to me he is starting to look like a first big off the bench type of player. In a close game at the end the other team can just hack him and more often than not he will split the FT's at best. By all accounts he is a good guy and hard worker, and teams need role players like that but I really dont see him as being our starting PF of the future. Just my opinion, but we will need to find a starting PF as well as filling the teams other needs going forward.
