So how many points will the Cavs score in the 4th quarter in this one? Will we even keep the game close?

Looking for payback, just close it out tonight. No Kyrie makes that especially tough.

This is a different Cavs team from the Heat and Memphis game. No energy. B2b game..

Hopefully we can turn it up in the second half.

I'm not the type to complain about rookies not getting calls, but this is bullsh*t. Waiters has been getting his a*s beat all game, and he can't get a call at all. If the refs called it fairly he would not be shooting 4-13.

CJ Miles is a pretty damn good tank leader. Takes three straight shots and we are out of the game.

This has been the case every game actually

Terrible end to the 3rd quarter. a 14-0 run to go up by 12

Once Waiters starts getting calls his game is really going to take off.

Its pretty ridiculous the amount of contact they are allowing defenders to lay on him.

This was a schedule loss. 4th game in 5 nights and coming after a 3 game roady to boot. Our schedule has been disastrous so far.

Pretty much Waiters is a slasher type SG, he has a streaky jumpshot. It's just frustrating when he attacks, the defender is allowed to punch him in the face and not get called. Then Waiters starts to settle for jumpshots due to frustration.

16 Points, 1 Block shot, 2 stls, 3 rebounds, and 7 asts (7-20 shooting)

Varejao is too awesome, I'm against trading him unless it's for a can't miss deal.
20 points, 18 rebounds :o

Varejao has been ridiculous. But I really shouldn't be surprised. He always put up good numbers when he got the minutes. The thing was when we had Z and assorted other bigs Varejao wasn't needed to board like this or to score.

although Waiters' % hasn't been anything great, you can see the potential there. He has nice handles, knows when to make the extra pass, and can get through defenders and to the rim pretty easily. He had a nice little floater today, and he's got a nice fadeaway. I think we're definitely spoiled by Kyrie's rookie season too. I think once he gets more of a feel for the pace of the NBA and has hones his shot selection a bit, he's gonna be a solid piece moving forward. AV once again showing why he deserves to be an allstar too... his midrange game is noticeably better this year, and he is outrebounding guys that are much bigger than him on a regular basis. Like SaiCLE said, we better not trade him unless it's an absolute steal of a deal for an all-star level player/prospect. I'd like to look into maybe seeing if IND would offer Paul George, or MEM would offer Gay. But even then- Thompson is clearly not going to be a valid replacement for AV moving forward. Plus Andy is a guy who embraces Cleveland, and always gave 100% even the first game after LeBitch left.

Byron Scott's opening statement: "Andy Varejao is fantastic. Everyone else sucked tonight."

Exactly my thoughts. This team need a whole lot more talent.
