Some of MN's injury bad luck apparently rubs off on players they are rumored to be interested in as well... here and with Pau's tendonitis and concussion as well.

Dang, well there goes that value that he'd built up this season.

Trade Deadline is 6 weeks away. Any chance he gets back just in time to get traded?

I highly doubt he will be back before the deadline. My guess is that the estimation of 6-8 weeks will turn into a reality of 12 weeks ala last season.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

He's pretty much useless now. I hope we just pass on the 2014-15 option because we won't be able to trade him for anything and he'll just get hurt quick enough to break our hearts.

Can you trade an injured player?

Hate to say I told you so... can't believe how many on here thought you should hang on to him. Buy Low Sell High. Andy was at his peak value in December. There were takers... and th FO should have made a move. It didn't happen and instead of getting rebuilding pieces you got Andy out again. You could have some young prospect out there on the floor right now... maybe a pick or something too.

You end up holding on to Varejao because he's worth more than you can get for him in a trade. Looks like we might be in the position again.

On a team that is only winning 22% of its games you move the older guy and build around the one good young prospect that you do have. Irving is your guy... Andy could have brought back pieces to help the young budding star out... guys he could grown with down the road.

You need a big man to grow with Irving. Is it Zeller (eeeh). Someone in this years draft like Len or Noel? Maybe. Could you pry away Ante Tomic who is killing it overseas for the Jazz? That would be interesting...

Well, I guess its time to officially call Andy injury prone. Sucks for us again.

I wish Varejao would quit playing for the Brazilian team during the Summer--- that extra wear doesn't help him make it through a full NBA season.

It's amazing how consistent the yearly Varejao injury is. By January/February, you can guarantee that he's going to be out for at least 2 months to the whole year. Just as sure as the sun will rise, Varejao will be injured by 30 or 40 games into an NBA season.

It really stinks, especially considering how good of a year he was having this season.

There were plenty of rumors (some you could probably take more seriously than others). There was a lot of noise about Andy. The Wolves could have returned nice talent. The idea being the returning talent ought to be younger and less injury prone.

with Enes Kanter I bet the Jazz would trade the draft rights to Ante Tomic. Tomic is straight up ballin for barcelona right now.

Don't you have your own team board? You can go there and talk about how Kevin Love is injury prone (I bet you could get Pau Gasol for him) and how Rubio is worse than Irving (BUT HE PLAYS D AND WINS).
