Kings Pick Back In Play!!!

Post#1 » by IMHO » Wed Jan 9, 2013 6:54 pm

now that looks like Kings are finally going to be sold, that picks becomes much more likely.

Top-12 protected in 2014, top-10 protected in 2015, top-10 protected in 2016 and top-10 protected in the 2017 Draft

I can honestly see it happening in 2015, as a mid teen!

With all of their talent, I think we should have that pick within two seasons. Get a legit PG, move Cousins and Evans, and start playing defense.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

If the new Seattle owners want to make a splash, I can see them spending to fill some holes to make the playoffs. Eith the Maloof fraudsters, that wouldn't happen.

I have very low expectations for that pick, mainly because of how terrible that franchise is at EVERY level, not just the team personel. We likely won't see it until it's a 2nd rounder lol

I also wonder if our best bet to get value out of the pick is to trade is back to Sacramento for some of their young talent, or possibly involve a third team receiving Tyreke or someone else from Sacramento.
