I don't think this is much of a surprise to most of us

He should be starting. Like Rondo's better.

Even Bonston fans would say Kyrie's a wicked pissa.

A few people seem to think he shouldn't have made it because of the Cavs record, but the vast majority seem fairly rational (excluding the normal one or two haters that think he is bad everytime anyone speaks about him). I don't really see any rational argument to keep him out of the game, in fact not only did he deserve to start but he should have even made it if we were talking about the West squad.

People just want a reason to hate Cleveland. I don't know why. But props to Uncle Drew. He is the Franchise. He very much deserve the spot.

I don't understand why folks would be hating on all things Cleveland but there might be something to it. I know they were largely against LeBron his rookie year saying he had plenty of time to be an all star (completely ridiculous argument if you deserve it), Mo who was a second alternate makes it and it's ridiculed although he was integral to the team winning 66 games. Of course there has been an uproar from certain idiots about Kyrie although he's not only putting up better stats but has embarrassed the guys that supposedly should have made it ahead of him. Hell, folks are still hating on Thompson eventhough he's been averaging a double double and shooting close to 70% lately. I would say that if we won it'd solve things, but these foks don't seem to care whether we win or lose.

Well deserved indeed. It's great to see him getting recognition from the GB too, I remember making this thread http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1135650 , the majority of people on here legitimately thought he was just gonna be an average Kyle Lowry type. I was always preaching the fact that he can score in any way he wants at a very effective percentage, I am so glad it's coming to frution. He's already such an unstoppable offensive player, I can't even imagine how good he'll be in a few years.

Not really sure who is "hating" on the Cavs. a majority of the GB thinks Kyrie deserved to make the ASG.

Watching raptors game atm, Kyrie gets hit so often on made baskets. If he got star calls, or even the calls he should he'd have so many and ones.

Yeah, this game is ridiculous. Kyrie has been getting hammered and he's not getting half of the foul calls he should. Toronto trying to be very aggressive all over the floor.

I like kyrie but it wouldn't hurt if he gave up the ball a bit more instead of going 1v3 on some possesions

Dude what are you talking about? He has two threads on the front page of the GB filled with posters gushing about him. Only people hating are defensive Bulls posters.

Did you miss the jealous blazers and wolves fans who harp on his defense and play making?
