Ok this is getting old with these 2nd half collapses and tonight against the heat was inexcusable. I know your missing players but you blew a 27 point lead in the 3rd quarter? Scott needs to start being held accountable and this is starting to look more and more like that Scott is not the answer for this team in the long run. Gibson is horrible and should not be at the point ever. He can not play the point period. All"s I can say is undertaking believable.

Luke Walton - all I have to say is Luke Walton.
And when it was clear the Cavs did not have a PG outside Livingston and were handing the ball to the Heat - you put in Chris Quinn.
We may want to call Mike Brown back.....

It was more of a Miami 1st half collapse than a CLE second half collapse, IMO... we had no business being up by that much with our 3 best players out, and Miami probably realized that eventually all they had to do was play decent defense and we would not be able to score the ball, and that's exactly what happened. Our go-to 4th quarter guy is out, our best defender is out, and our secondary offensive option is out. I dunno, maybe that's just the homer excuse but whatever.

The anti Byron movement is afoot. To hear the local hacks on the radio you would think he was terrible. True, he just sat and watched Miami rip out the teams heart, and I would have liked to see him get pissed, change the players on the floor, get a T or something but he isnt a bad coach.
I like the way Kyrie and Dion are developing, and Tristian for that matter too. Zeller looks lost though, and was much better earlier in the year before the league figured out he was physically weak. The D has been bad, and that has to change, but with such a young roster it isnt that surprising. This team needs a Garnett type of vet who can still play and will get in the face of some of these guys when the effort wanes on defense. And I hate saying that because I hate Garnett but it is a fact.
I wonder if Byron is tired of coaching this team. The roster hasnt been good since he came here, and with the injuries this team doesnt have much chance on most nights now. It shouldnt have an effect on him but I think it is. Without any significant veteran additions this offseason I am not sure Byron makes it through next season as our coach. I hope he does, but this team needs better players for Byron to coach, and hopefully a little luck on players staying healthy.

IMO, next season will be the make it break it season for Scott. He's just following the front office direction of improvement of the promising young core sprinkled with tanking. Next season is Scott's last year, under his current contract, and the Cavs will have to win and make the playoffs in order for Scott to get a new contract.
