It really only looks like we are pursuing 3 players seriously (which is actually more than the last few years), Early Clark, Greg Oden and Wayne Ellington. I actually would love all 3 as long as they don't cost too much. That said, we've had a plan that we've stuck to for several years, I don't see us going off plan for any of the 3.
BTW Clark was in Cleveland today and they have a meeting set for tomorrow as well.

I really hope we get SOME depth. Clark and Ellington would be good. Don't care bout oden.
Another wing to take cj miles minutes would be great, Livingston id love to have back too.
Adding Clark to last years cast isnt enough to make much improvements though, everything will hinge on health which probably wont go in out favor.

I'd like to add Clark. He's not going to turn our fortunes around or anything though. If we can get three or four guys on our bench of his caliber then it starts looking like we'll be able to stay in games.

Livingston and Ellington would be ideal as both can play/guard the 1-3 slots if needed. Tremendous.

I think Cavs are waiting on Howard Decision. If he goes to Houston maybe they go after Asik, if he goes back to LA then maybe Gasol, and If he goes to Golden State maybe David Lee. Now if Howard goes to Dallas I really do not see any options there for Dallas to unload anyone we may need or want maybe Marion but other then that. I really believe the Cavs are waiting to pounce in after Howards decision and get someone from one of those teams on the cheap since that team will have to unload more than likely.

Clark. Hmm so how is Thompsan/Clark/Bennet/Varejao going to all get minutes?

Varejao is going to get most of his minutes at the 5, Bennett with play 4/3, Clark will be primarily at the 3, Thompson primarily at the 4. I don't see this as a problem at all.

Ok, so what each of these guys is going to get 20 MPG?

For as the team CURRENTLY lies... these are my minutes estimates. I did it with my own opinion on what I'd like to see with this squad. Don't think we will stand pat though.
PG Kyrie (35)/ ? (8)/ Dion (5)
SG Dion (25)/Gee (10) /Karasev (13)
SF Alonzo (15)/Clark (20)/Bennett (5)/Karasev (8)
PF TT (25)/Bennett (23)
C Varejao (28)/Zeller (12)/TT (8)

You know there are 144 minutes per game in those 3 positions right? Using a completely unsophisticated way of breaking up their minutes that'd be 36 mpg each.

I was told there would be no math.

Thats great and all, but all those guys besides Varejao aren't playing the 5 at all (Maybe TT for a very short time). So divide those minutes over just the 3/4 and that gives 96 minutes for Gee/Clark/Bennet/Karasev/Tristan/ to split and it equals about 19MPG.

I would guess something along the lines of
Tristan Thompson 32 minutes
Anderson Varejao 32 minutes
Anthony Bennett 24 minutes
Earl Clark 24 minutes
Tyler Zeller 12 minutes
Alonzo Gee 12 minutes
Karasev 8 minutes

Fart you're worrying too much. It's a good signing and we really needed someone at the 3 which earl will be able to play. It's a good singing, don't stress.

Gee and Karasev are going to see way more time at the 2 than you are considering.

Hey fart think of it this way. Instead of worrying about him taking bennetts minutes at the 4 rejoice over him taking Cj miles minutes at the three

Good news on the Clark signing. So just trying to catch up to the conversation.....we're worried we might have too many good players that deserve minutes?

I don't get what the issue is? Clark will mostly play the 3. Karasev will mostly play the 2 this year according to Grant. Plenty of minutes for TT & AB to split at the PF spot.
