Mavs fan here with the addition of Bynum does that make varejao available? You still need a starting sf and a marion for andy deal works cap wise

I cant imagine the Cavs would entertain that idea. Varejao's value isnt very high around the league, but its still extremely high to the Cavs. Im sure he's available, but its going to take paying a higher price than any team will want to pay.

Plus he and Bynum are great insurance for each other. No reason to trade him unless the Cavs get blown away.

Only for Asik at this point.

Mavs should be tanking.

12 year playoff run capped by a championship and now that things are looking bad it is one of the best drafts in years. The timing is great.

Yes we should but our front office is too incompetent to sign marquee free agents and too dumb to tank

As Bmac said, Varejao is undoubtedly available, but fact is he's still really wanted and needed here. No way would we give him away and I don't see Marion as a particularly good fit for us at the 3.

Varejao being our 3rd big off the bench is something I'd rather have than anything else right now.

If we can land AK47 we won't need to trade him at all, and I'm not sure what quality 3's we can land for Varejao

Ak is out of the question for u now and if u want LeBron you want to preserve cap and there isn't a better sf on an exp than marion that's available

AV should not be available until next year. Frankly even our insurance (AV) needs insurance.

I'm hearing that Philly might want to do a sign and trade to get at least TE, player and second round pick. If AK47 will sign for one year at a discount, and make his run at a big contract next year after everyone has cleared cap space, I would do that in a second.

A snt for what? And why would u take a one year deal on a reduced rate when he just walked away from 10m

For the same reason Ellis will take less money than walked away from. He doesn't have a choice. Look around the league. How many teams have cap space left? He would take a one-year deal because there is going be more cap clearing next year and some teams will come up short and he can get his money then.

No one has the cap to give AK what he turned down in Minny.

I don't want LeBron.

Everyone wants Lebron.

AK47 and Marion don't fit in with what we are doing now. Clark, Jack and Bynum is our offseason - we are done.

Everyone except me.

I'd love to win without him

Andy would be able to model a suit on your bench for the low low price of 3 installments of 19.95.

I can't see a GM trading anything of value for him as trading for Andy seems to be an easy way to get fired.
