Please critique my analysis
#20 - Cleveland Cavaliers
PG - Kyrie Irving, Jarret Jack
SG - Dion Waters, CJ Miles
SF - Anthony Bennett, Alonzo Gee
PF - Tristan Thompson, Earl Clark
C - Andrew Bynum, Anderson Vareajo
D - Tyler Zeller, Sergey Karasev, Carrick Felix
I guess the thinking in Cleveland must be that with Irving, Thompson, Waters. and Bennett that there is enough young talent on the team to add a big free agent and compete for a top 4 seed. And while I think Bynum and Jack were excellent signings I just worry that they jumped the gun. I do have them making the playoffs, but as an 8th seed. And I doubt they'll give the #1 seed much of a scare.
That being said, if Bennett is an impact player consummate with his draft position they may indeed be looking at a top 4 seed. I just am betting against it. Still, Cav faithful should enjoy a return to post season relevance.
There is nobody here that excites me for fantasy. In fact, I'd stay away from Jack and Vareajo this year, too much uncertainty for minutes.
Projected record: 40/42

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Jumped the gun how? Cleveland still has all of their picks as well as a protected Sacramento 1st and a protected Memphis 1st. If Bynum cannot stay healthy, then they let him go and take the cap space to go fishing for a top tier free agent. Cleveland now has a nice mix of you talent, Irving/Thompson/Waiters/Bennett/Karasev/Zeller, as well as veterans, Varejao/Jack/Bynum. Health will be the biggest hurdle, but with a defensive coach in place, the sky is the limit for this team.
As far as projected playoff position, I see them being anywhere between 5-8, with Miami, Indiana, Chicago, and Brooklyn taking the 1-4 spots.

This is showing an astonishing lack of understanding of the Cavs cap situation next year. At some time you have to start trying to win.

I was real disappointed to read in the PD that Bennett will not get a chance to play SF.
I think Brooklyn made the biggest improvements in the offseason. Only value that has to me is I will love seeing New Yorkers crying when the FixBA hands the next title to ladouchebag again.

I would prefer to play a young guy where he is comfortable, let him build some confidence, and then reevaluate down the road. Also, keep in mind that nothing is set in stone given our injury history, combined with the amount of youth we have on the roster.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

What's your deal and why are you so aggressive? He called Waiters Waters at least twice. That's what I'm trying to say.

Oh, come on. Am I supposed to be intimately familiar with the salary structure and future 1sts of every team in the league?
Tell you what, instead of berating me, break down the finances and draft picks and when I review my commentary I'll try to incorporate that info.

To be fair, if you are going to write a review of every team and use it as a way to rank them, I think people would expect you to dig up a little more than just whats on the surface, especially if you are going to touch on those sort of things in your writeup. I give you credit, because Im sure it took a lot of time to do all of this. I wouldnt be able to do it all, so major props. For the most part its pretty spot on, but obviously if you make a few mistakes the fanatics on here are very protective of their team.
The only thing I really am suggesting is to make sure you put Bennett at PF and not SF, and likewise switch Clark to SF as he's likely the starter. I think we are better than an 8 seed, but understand the doubters so I wont rake you over the coals for that part. Oh, and put an i in Waiters.

B-Mac, if Bennett is slated in at PF, does that mean he comes of the Bench for Tristan? Also, what is the thought if they both pan out as good PFs? Start them both?

this is for real?

Anyway, look at what Cleveland could have if they had done things right,
Irving-Livingston-Canaan
Oladipo-Ellington-Karasev
Barnes-Crowder-Gee
Smith-Clark-DraymondGreen
Valanciunas-Varejao-Ezeli
+Abrines rights
Jack+Bynum money to Josh Smith, re-sign Livingston and Ellington+draft the right players
It's just sad, that team is much better, I will've been crying if I was a Cav fan.
