Should Bynum start?
Bynum just told the Plain Dealer he can't jump anymore without significant pain. His plan is not to jump anymore - in the NBA. I've tried to be a glass-half-full guy but this is too much for me. I know we need offense from our front court but I think we have to trade for it at this point (or Bennett has to have a sudden development). Doesn't Brown have to move him back to the bench at this point?

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

"Any time Andrew Bynum runs up and down the court, he feels sharp pain in his knees. It's not as bad as it was last season, when he didn't play a single NBA game. It hurts most when he attempts to jump in any way or make any kind of explosive movement.
So he's accepted that his game – for this season, at least, but maybe forever – will be limited to what he can accomplish from the space he takes up with his 7-foot, 285-pound frame.
"I'll just stick to the floor," Bynum said Monday. "Ground game. Position defense and position offense on the ground.""

I think hes here for the entire year unless he starts to absolute suck.....I think the deadline is January to opt out this year so I think he is a Cav for the remainder of the season.

Re: Should Bynum start?
I'm just saying they cannot start him and plan on running the offense through him. He can come off the bench where he can abuse second units while hiding his defensive liabilities. But the notion that your starting center isn't going to jump, is just a bridge too far for me.

Re: Should Bynum start?
I think if a trade is on the table to bring in considerable assets then I think they would move him....but even with his Peg leg he is probably a top 10-12 center...
