For Philly
He's a Philly guy, he was teammates with MCW at Syracuse, and he can score, no expectations here.

For Cleveland
Evan played for Ohio state, will fill a needed role as a ball handling SF, if the experiment doesn't work out you get another 6 mil expiring.

As much as I dislike Waiters I won't throw a 1st.
Turner needs to be resigned and that will cost money, Waiters+Gee+2nd round should be enough.

Turner is a really good fit with what you have, still this team will need a shooter-defensive SG, Miles can fill that role for now I guess.
If not, the Draft is always there, Gary Harris for example.

No. Sam Amico tweeted that this rumor had no legs today. Smells like Philly trying to inflate Turner's value.

Turner is having his success in a wide-open run-and-gun system on 18 shots a night. He would get here and quickly regress to his usual 10-12 ppg career average.

I see no reason to give up assets for a guy the Cavs can sign in the offseason if they really want him.

And how you going to get LeBron if you sign Turner? Wait until he makes another The Decision, which by then Turner would have already signed a contract sheet.

It amuses me how 10 games seems to have increased his value in such a way. Oh wait, it really hasn't. But, if Philly thinks he's such a fantastic player they have him under contract, they can keep him.

At Least Larry Hughes earned his contract with good play for more than 12 games....

I personally would trade Dion for Turner straight up if ET signed an extension at like 7m a year. Don't see that happening though.

A little concerned about the contract year production, but talent wise I'd be fine with the deal. Like everyone is saying though he's a rental. That seems problematic to me.

Waiters is no good here, Kyrie and him will never mesh. Turner on the other hand would be a good fit.

I believe the comparison is because Larry really started playing well in his contract year. Much like Larry, Evan has been trash before these last few games of the new season. Turner is still a guy who cant shoot and needs the ball in his hands to be effective. I dont really see how that is a good fit personally. I'd be willing to give him a try, but not until the offseason when we dont have to give up any other assets to get him besides money.

Well his first two years, he had no place on Philadelphia with Iggy still in his way and him playing as the off guard and not a Forward. So him breaking out now as the main guy on a really bad team isn't that surprising.

Evan Turner is a great passer for his position, a great rebounder for his position as well.

Although he is most effective without the ball, he isn't absolutely useless without like Waiters is. He knows how to cut and how to get open, I understand he isn't Ray Allen but he is an upgrade. While his shooting is not his strength we need to find shooting at other positions. Clark, Jack, Karasev, and Kyrie all need to shoot better and make their open looks.

I have no idea why anyone would assume that Turner would play well with Kyrie. Much like Waiters, Turner is better with the ball. And, he's not as good a shooter as Waiters so a team with already not enough outside shooting actually gets worse from outside.
