We have failed to add 3 point shooting for 3 years now.

On this team we have a few guys that can hit 3's, Earl Clark hits them when he spots up, Jarrett Jack chucks them up and they go in sometimes, and Waiters has gotten better in spot up situations. Karasev hasn't contributed yet, and I'm not sure Bennett was ever projected to knock down 3's at a high level in the NBA(dunno why that's the only shot he'll take).
But we still don't really have 3 point threats, look at Washington.
Bradley Beal was shooting 6.3 three-point attempts a game at 44%.
Trevor Ariza shooting 6.2 three-point attempts a game at 41%.
Martell Webster shooting 5.8 three-point attempts a game at 39%.
We have to make a move to add a proven 3 point shooter on the wing.

Well...here's hoping Karasev can become a competent NBA player.

Gibson was here as a specialist.
Ellington can knock them down too.
We haven't had a second starter that's a legitimate three point threat in quite a while. Certainly would help.

Wasn't there a rumor we tried pretty hard to sign Korver or was that BS? He would look real nice in our lineup.

Beal doesn't count since he's the guy that we really wanted. Karasev should be a good 3 point shooter, but to be fair most player don't enter the league hitting 3 pointers at a high rate.

I understand that, but in our starting lineup we don't have the necessary spacing to be an efficient team. I don't think we have the time to wait for Sergey to get comfortable, we need to address that need IMO.
And I wasn't saying those were people we could have acquired, I was just using Washington as an example.
EDIT: Also, since Clark has been so proficient at the spot-up three, you think we'd have him shooting more than 2 a game. We need to run more plays specifically designed for our spot-shooters. When Karasev was in, we never ran plays for him so it was obvious why he wasn't a factor. Clark, Sergey(whenever he cracks the rotation), and Waiters need to have specific plays that end up in good looks from 3 for them.

We have players who can knock down 3's and do other things as well. If our offense was creating better looks, our 3pt% would be higher. Plus Kyrie was in that shooting slump.

Sergey can hit corner threes all day if we ran plays for him. I definitely want to see more of him sooner than later
