Well, this game makes the difference between an encouraging 3-2 western road trip and playoff hope, and a disappointing 2-3 road trip featuring one of the most brutal blowouts in years.

Just some stats that I found..
- In the last 3 games, Kyrie has been averaging 13.7 PPG on 32.6% shooting.
- The Cavs have given up an average of 113.0 points and allowed teams to shoot 50.0 percent during their trip.
- The Cavaliers are 0-15 on the road when scoring 100 points or fewer. Denver, which has won four straight at home, has held foes to 93.3 per game in its last three there.

Such a negative Nancy.
On the bright side, we're 2-2 in a western road trip even though we're hoooooorible on the road, especially defensively, and have beaten the Nuggets at home this season.

The truth is there is nothing to be positive and excited about with this team.

You don't want to make the playoffs?

That really isn't the point. There are so many issues with this team than just making it to the post season, but let's not get into that. Either way, the Cavs are not a playoff caliber team at all.. Sure they can potentially slip into the 7th or 8th seed because of the weak East, but there is no way the Cavs would stand a chance at all against Miami or Indiana.

Obviously not. But they're extremely young and making the playoffs is the goal for the season. That's what everybody wanted. Just because a young team that had the #1 pick last year looks bad, why should we be so surprised. Making the playoffs was and is the next step.

I think the Cavs win this one. 104-101.

The problem isn't that we are young, it's a combination of talent, effort, and basketball IQ.

I know. And effort and basketball IQ have plenty to do with the fact that the team is really young. Aren't the ages of our four most important players, going forward, 20, 21, 22, and 22 (Bennett, Kyrie, Dion, Tristan)? These guys are obviously going to get better at basketball. Which could ultimately fail for us, of course, but still, the team is really young. They're almost definitely going to get better over time.

I never see that core of four players developing into anything more than a lower playoff team in the east. I'll pass.

The Nuggets court is so bright, it hurts my eyes.

Tough luck. It's not up to you. There is no 'pass.'

That little floater TT shoots always looks like a dumb shot but it seems like he never misses it.

Tristan had 17 points and 21 boards last time we played Denver, he's been great so far. I get the feeling he likes to go after Faried.

Faried is a pretty good player but no logic in saying he'd have been a better pic like some say. Similar players but faried is pretty poor defensively.

Faried has always gotten on my nerves because of how much praise him and lately, Valanciunas have gotten so far in their careers even though they really haven't done more than Tristan (who has basically been labelled a minor bust already). Figured he might feel the same a bit.
Every time Faried does something like grab 20 rebounds, he'll probably be some of the talk of the night on NBA sites. Never a mention of Tristan when he does something good.
