Cavs vs. Pelicans

Post#1 » by Rise Against » Tue Jan 28, 2014 9:07 am

I am sure a lot of us are very excited about this game.. Let's hear some predictions.. How many minutes does Jarrett Jack and Earl Clark play? How about Waiters?

Jarrett Jack deserves at least 40 minutes a game, he and Clark were fantastic off season adds.

Spot on. And just imagine if Earl Clark plays like he is really capable and gets back to shooting his career average of 40% !!!

Jack = 32 minutes
Clark = 29 minutes
Loss = 15 points
Waiters = 21 minutes
Time wasted on this dumbass team = infinite

If I'm going to watch this team lose, I want to watch the young rookies lose.

No reason whatsoever that Clark is playing more than Bennett and Jack playing more than Waiters. The team needs a spark - the first two players off the bench should be Dion and AB for CJ and Andy.

So I can only assume that we will have Davis looking like the 10 time All-Sar, 2 time league MVP that he is?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

This just makes me think about the fact that the Cavs got the 1st overall pick in 2011 and 2013, and Anthony Davis was the 1st pick in 2012. Now I'm sad.

I'm bracing myself for an excellent first half and a 3rd quarter collapse where Davis scores 15 points with 10 rebounds and 5 blocks.

The Cavs are probably the most inconsistent team in the league. I wouldn't bet on them (either way) with your money.

Did...did Davis just take someone off the dribble and nail a turnaround jumper from the elbow? What in the hell.

Of course. Classic Bennett play. This guy is hopeless.

He didn't look all that good last time we played the Pelicans, but goddamn, Anthony Davis is a hell of a player. I'm so jealous of Pelicans fans.

Every play that involves Anthony Bennett is a bad one. How could they let this guy play against Anthony freaking Davis?
