Wojnarowski saying for two second rounders.

Odd we'd make that deal for an expiring....unless something else is coming.

as a sixers fan, he has great shooting touch. one of the best 3pt shooting big men you will ever see

but he is soft as toliet paper. no defense no toughness

Offensively, I can see Hawes and Kyrie's pick and pop to be promising. I also think he can do some facilitating with your team specially with the number of scorers and lack of facilitators in your team.

Defensively, I guess Tristan and Varejao could easily mask his weakness on defense. For what it's worth he's a pretty underrated shotblocker.

If it's for 2 2nd's, it's a good deal for I don't see any of your 2nds being better than Hawes. Talent-wise, for me, he's worth a lotto. Hawes for me is one of the most skilled big man in the league.

Having more than 1 white center is likely not going to happen.

Has to be. Cleveland needs to send salary somewhere.

I'm wondering if Philly is the third team in the 'Cleveland to send Jack to Kings if they can find a third team to take Jason Thompson. That money would match up and would be a nice get for Cleveland.

Maybe Earl Clark goes to Philly to cover the cap requirement. I'm a little nervous about how much talk is swirling about us trading Zeller though.

Totally agree about Zeller - he has looked awesome. Really dumb to move him now

Seems appropriate to trade Andy if we can.... Would much rather keep Zeller at this point surprisingly.

Does AV count as white? Because if so I would rather move him than Zeller at this point.

I would be VERY surprised if this is our only move.

Kiwi is right - Aldridge is confirming its for Clark. If the total deal is Clark and two 2nds then this is simply outstanding for the Cavaliers.

If there is another move to be made today, hopefully it has long term benefit. That's the only thing this one might lack.

What the hell is this Reggie Bullock/Tyler Zeller swap BS? That would be horrible.

Hawes can hit the three and the mid-range shot, very good passer, will rebound in his area adequately, and occasionally hit a shot inside. You need to pair him with a very good defensive big because other than a few blocked shots he is a sieve on D, slow and lacks strength. Normally plays hard and smart, though he had given up as of late and generally tends to wear down late in seasons every year. Every once in a while he will have a Hawesome game in the right matchup, other nights gets overwhelmed by biger, more physical players.

Glad to have your two second rounders, especially if they are the earlier two. Fair value for a rental on a decent role player. Good luck on improving to a record better than NOP, it will help our second lotto pick if you do.

This type of talk is nonsense. What does toughness mean exactly? The guy is a solid rebounder and averageish on defense so how is he weak exactly? What matters is production on the court not nonsensical judgement calls on character. Hawes got a bad reputation in Sacramento that has been slow to rub off. If you look at his advanced stats in 3 years as a Sixers it is clear that he is a solid NBA big at just about every facet of the game. Even if he walks if your goal is trying to make the play-offs getting him for 2 second rounders is a solid deal. To me if he finishes the years well with the Cavs I would have no problem offering him 8-10 mill per year to keep him.
