This is illogical. There's no point keeping a coach not suited to this team or development around waiting to find out if Kyrie will stay or is a franchise player. Whatever the answer to those questions mike brown is not the man for the job.
This is part of "the big stuff" and making this move doesn't effect our ability to decide other things.
I do agree there are worse coaches in the league than brown so I worry who we'll sign.
