I am a Timberwolves fan wondering if the rumor that the two sides have talked in the last few hours is true? Are you guys hearing anything?

Of course we've talked to the TWolves. The Cavs likely have multiple deals on the table with different teams but have everything on hold until they figure out whats going on with a certain free agent.

Sucks that free agency is after the draft, honestly I think it should be before, that way teams can draft based on who they just signed.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we trade this pick for anyone. If Lebron comes and we trade it for Love then ok but i mean that's never happening.

If Utah pays a king's ransom, the Cavs should net Favors out of that deal, and send the rest of the package to Minny. Favors/Love/FA/Waiters(or Burks)/Irving. Even if the Cavs didn't land LBJ, so long as they got a good SF in FA, that is a solid team that is going to make noise in the playoffs.

All of this " what if, maybe then" crap is getting old. My god, we had a 1.7% chance of getting the top pick, why look a gift horse (fate) in the mouth? Take Wiggins or even Parker and don't look back.
Build the team with the players we have and keep the pick, use it on a guy who is expected to be a franchise type of player for the next 6 or 7 years and if some FA wants to come here after we keep the pick so be it.

Any deal that has Waiters going out is hard to swallow. Any deal that has Martin coming back is just a bridge too far for me. There is no way that Minny parts with Love without getting at least the No. 4 and I don't see the Wolves taking TT and Bennett. I could live with the Cavs replacing Waiters with the No. 12.

OK by me, I just didn't see any way he would want to extend for the Cavs. Just as well, would have been incredibly stupid to move the #1 in this draft for a rental.

Sam Amico's twitter feed at 2:30 today after reports came out saying deal was dead. Sam is the announcer for the Cavs.
