this is imminent

I'd say the first all star appearance will make it official, so about season & half.

(i know some troll will be like "when Kyrie leaves in free agency soon as he can)

I think the Cavs have to cross the is-this-Kyrie's-team bridge first and they we can start talking about a 19-year old rookie.

Kyrie was a 19 year old rookie just 3 years ago & a much smaller prospect.

And the Cavs were totally bereft of talent. They are in a different place now. My point is that they shouldn't be handing their team to any one player unless and until that player has demonstrated that he alone is the difference between success and failure. There are probably three or four players in the league who fall into that category. The much better message would be this is Blatt's team and they are all expected to listen to the coach.

This, and every team, belongs to Dion Waiters. :D

I am not a troll, but with Kyrie initiating the offense, I don't think it becomes Wiggins team while Kyrie is here. Add the fact the Wiggins didn't demand the ball at Kansas, and supposedly wasn't assertive enough there, I hope you can see why I say that.
Also, he is a 19 year old incoming rookie, so I think pumping the brakes on the "when does it become his team?" talk would be prudent. Lets let him get a year under his belt in the NBA before that talk starts shall we?

It should be looked at as Blatts team with Kyrie and Wiggins being the two most important pieces to that team.

I say 3 years at the max. I think Kyrie would be more than happy to turn the load over to someone else.

I honestly think that in a few seasons Kyrie and Wiggins will share the role as franchise player.

Even if he develops as we hope he will, I still think it'll be 3+ years. I'm of the belief that Kyrie has gotten very underrated, even by Cavs fans, following this disappointing season (and the disappointing aspects of his individual season have been overblown too).

By what the media's been reporting these couple days, he does seem like the most important player.

Will he be on the Cavs? If not then him being better is irrelevant.

even before the draft i was hoping Cleveland got Wiggins because i was thinking "it would be great if Cleveland got Wiggins and he became the best player in the NBA and a rivalry between LeBron and Wiggins becomes huge and Cleveland get the last laugh and eliminate the Heat"..... i never believed Cleveland would want LeBron to play for them again, and i'm still shocked that Cleveland (management and fans) are open to the idea :o

i'm a HORNETS fan and i'd quit following the NBA if LeBron signed with Charlotte :o

I hope the Cavs don't trade Wiggins. With Lebron, no trades are necessary to attract free agents.
