Anyone watching the Cavs and Bucks game? Wiggins and Parker are looking good out there. Dellavedova not too bad either..

And Bennett is a force!

Heyo from Chicago... we're gonna have some intense battles in the upcoming seasons but just dropped by to say it's nice to see Bennett ripping it up in Summer League. He looks awesome. Even if he is just trade bait at this point...

I'm excited to see Bennett play well. Fools are going to look dumb calling him trash.

Summer League

Post#4 » by gflem » Sat Jul 12, 2014 4:33 pm

I know there is a new normal here now, but I thought I would post this and discuss.
A guy to watch outside of Wiggins of course, is Jack Cooley imo. He has good size and was a pretty good college player. Besides Wiggins, Bennett, and Delly he looked better than anyone else that played last night. I barely noticed Felix, and don't even know if Joe Harris played. Hopson looked lost, and Kirk looked OK.
I was looking forward all day to watching the game, and have DVR'd the games that the Cavs are playing in. For the Bucks, Parker is definitely going to be a player, though I think we all knew that. Anyone know if the Indians played last night? JK.

Kirk and Cooley both had good moments last night.

Although for a good portion of the game I was just sitting there with my jaw on the floor in response to the freakish flashes we saw from Wiggy.

Wiggins was dope lol. Started off slow. But you literally saw his game elevate when Parker started playing better. Wiggins is the real deal. LBJ and Wiggins will make the league drool. Just wait.

Wiggins vs Parker is going to special as the years go by. That Summer League game was played with some intensity and looked like a real game - mostly I think because Wiggins and Parker want to beat each other so badly - even in summer league - and the players on both teams fed off that emotion. Bennett looked good too - as it Giannis for Milwaukee. Those were 4 very talented young players on display.

Giannis length makes him look awkward as hell.

Can't believe he went 15th in 2013, I think he ends up being the best player out that draft.

it will be interesting to see what Wiggins does today, the Spurs SL team doesn't have the athletic wings the bucks do, playing Deshaun Thomas and Kyle Anderson Wiggins might get some serious buckets.

Wiggins has a LOOOOONG way to go shooting the ball, 3/11 today.
Bennett with 13-14 on 5/8 shooting and 1/2 on 3 point

Has good form so the potential is there. Does have some issues in his form where he isn't consistent with it such as not following through and not going straight up and down. Really needs the repetition and confidence in the jump shot. He'll be a good shooter but it may take a couple years to become more consistent like players like Leonard and George.

But ya gotta love that D. Not that it was the SAS A team or anything, but it was nice to see.

Nice to see Wiggins only take 3 3 pointers, only made 1, better then 1/8. wish Cooley were 2 inches taller, that guys been really good so far.

We need some big men. This Alex Kirk stiff doesn't have a chance to make the team, does he?

Noels looks like the real deal to me. If his knee stays healthy, he's going to be the best guy out of that draft class.

I'm loving Wiggins defense.

Outside of Bennett, none of these bigs should be on the final roster.
