is Blatt on his way out already?

I hate to make this thread because I really like Blatt & loved the hire, I like hiring new coaches as it's a chance to build something new rather than keep using recycled coaches that never work out...

But, seeing that lebron and him might have differences, which is odd since LeBron NEVER has differences publicly with coaches, his time might be up.

I will hate this team if they fire Blatt before giving him a chance. That being said the possibility of this is zero.

That would be a pretty dumb move for the organization.

How could you logically come to that conclusion?

Blatt Is a really good coach. Only complaint is he doesn't utilize the LeBron/Love Pick and Roll (We need to see this more instead of Varejao.). I love that he has Kyrie focused on playing Defense. Coach nick from Bball Breakdown praised his offense. He just needs a shot blocker.

Why do we need to see more LeBron/Love pick and roll? Love just isn't that much of a threat rolling to the basket. Pick and pop is another thing, but I don't get all the calls for more LeBron/Love pick and roll.

Even Pop praised him. He would be a better fit for a team with less egos. Will ERSPN try to grill him? Stephen A needs to be owned along with Skip.

I keep hearing nonsense from certain sports pundits about Mark Jackson being a potential replacement, due to Rich Paul being his agent. As a Warriors fan, I'm here to warn you: whatever you do, DO NOT HIRE MARK JACKSON. His idea of offensive play-calling is to yell "let's go guys", then clap his hands, and the much-lauded Warriors defense was designed by current Sacramento head coach Mike Malone. If for some bizarre reason you give Blatt the boot in the middle of the season, stay far, far away from the preacher.

OP: Don't be silly. When LeBron came to Miami, the same was being said about Erik Spoelstra. The media must have fired him close to 20 times during his time down there. Stay the course; the ship will right itself eventually. Only worry if your struggles continue into February.

You guys need to trade Waiters first. There's no way he'll fit into a Lebron led team.

IMO, it all comes down to what Lebron want's since he has all the leverage with his contract situation. Cavs lead assistant, Tyrone Lue, is a very good friend of Lebron and it depends whether Lebron wants Lue to be the Head Coach. I agree that Blatt should have more time and that there might be a need for roster adjustment(s) to fully be able to evaluate him.

Personally I think getting rid of blatt will really make the team go a lot further downhill .

First who would replace him ? Is there any top tier replacements available? Serious question .

Second , getting rid of a coach in the middle of a season can't be good for chemistry , maybeeeee , but most likely it would be the same process thats happening right now start all over.

Third , I think the cavs should really ride out what they have , but should try and get a trade done that will bring in a solid center that's 24-28 years old on a decent contract preferably somebody who's a rim protector. Also pick up a tweener pg/sg that can hit the three at a decent clip.

I think Afflao (think that's spelled wrong) could fit really well in as well as Mozgov.

All my perspective, I honestly wish you guys the best , easily favorite team in the east.

You guys seem to be really struggling figuring out the flow of the offense but it was weird since the preseason klove looked like he did in ninny but now it looks like all the guys doubting him contributing on a team like the cavs were right.

All in all give it 30-40 games before you judge to quickly , guys could easily go .500 through the first half of the season and just click and go on a crazy run before the all star break and into the playoffs .

And that's coming from me of all people.

there could be any number of factors at play, all valid, making the parts not compatable for the whole. the sample size is too small to blame anyone, but it seems to me lebron is playing his game, irving is playing his, and love is not, cannot, or not allowed to.

find the solution to love and half the problem is solved.

lebron said the cavs should be outrebounding everyone. the cavs are currently #27. rebounding is not a selfish thing - it does not take away from the whole. when love was at minnie, minnie's rebound ranking fluctuated directly with love being in or out of the lineup - they were #6 when he was in, #27 when he was out, and high teens when love played part of a season. so why is love at the arc barely getting 10rpg and too often under 10, which used to be automatic. where are those love fast break passes he used to make every game.

lots of people don't believe in klove,,,never did. they never liked his lack of athleticism so they figured he was a lucky stat stuffer. some say his minnie teammates were not getting in his way when he rebounded - hmmmm, so then not getting in klove's way resulted in minnie being #6 in rebounding which led to all those corey brewer fast breaks..is that it? :) you know what i've read and heard about klove since his days in high school, ucla, and minnie?,,,,"good things happen when love has the ball". i've seen a couple of games. klove struggles and at times looks like he's trying to force it. newsflash,,,he is not athletic enough to get his shot off anytime he wants. he needs to be "enabled" - to get the ball when he's in his spot. minnie got him the ball and the result was a top3 efficiency player

if blatt can't use klove, trade him to some team that can. what's going on now is not helping anyone. here's the irony,,,minnie is worthless without klove, and if the cavs just want to play klove like this, they'd have been better off with wiggins - maybe not BETTER but better off. wiggins wouldn't mind standing around watching lebron and irving to their thing.

here's my sentiment...last year's minnie team(40wins) + lebron would have been a 58win team. last year's minnie team + lebron AND irving would be a 50-50 team.

No coach will do well in Cleveland if Lebron and the team continue to ignore and disregard what they say.

Thinking about it I think loves problem is that kyrie doesn't run the offense that suits love .

Rubio had to make plays to get love open , dribble hand offs and things like that.

Wish I could watch your guys games .

But at the same time , TT, AV, Bron are all way better rebounders then anybody love had , now that makes sense for loves stats not being there but makes 0 sense for you guys as a team being horrid in the rebounding department.

I have a strong feeling though that you guys will start to string together a couple of wins and that will lead to the "swagger" and chemistry you guys need .

And as a baiter and troll of the less educated cavs fans , I hope to god you guys win a championship for the small market team sakes.

And no I don't consider San Antonio a small market by any means no matter what anybody says. There not.

LeBron had philosophical disagreements with Spo - wanting to fastbreak more, and Spo wanted them to stay home on D and secure it before sprinting. In the end, they both got what they wanted.

LeBron respected Spo because he understood that Spo is just an extension of Riley.

If there's a coach out there who can do what Love has not done the last 15 years of his life - and play consistent D - then that man will be Coach of the Year and an multi millionaire.

Kyrie's D has improved in spots, but still needs to be more consistent during an entire game.

It's ironic, that what this team really needs right now, is a defensive minded 2 to pick up for Kyrie, and a scoring big.

The Cavs had both and traded them away for Love.
