Blatt is clueless and should be fired

This guy doesn't know how to build his bench and develop players. I keep hearing that the cavs need a rim protector while Blatt has two 7 footers in haywood and alex kirk on his bench that he NEVER uses. I felt that Tristan Thompson should have started the entire season over Varejao. While Varejao has a better jumpshot than Tristan, he is a much worse defender and is not as good of a rebounder as Tristan is. I know it's hindsight now, but the cavs should have signed Tristan to a contract instead of giving Andy who is older and more injury prone the contract they did. Now the sad thing is that the cavs are probably going to have to give up one of their younger talents to get a front court player to replace Varejao. Basically trading that player for Varejao, who they have to keep because of the contract, who's going to give them nothing this year and is on the decline of his athletic career.

I feel like now that Varejao is out, Blatt is lost and doesn't know what to do. I cannot believe that his starting lineup against Miami was LeBron, kyrie, marion, love and miller. That is horrible lineup. Where's the rebounding besides love and there's no size. I also don't get why he refuses to play AJ Price. Here's a guy that went to Indiana and played good while he was there. He has better penetration skills than Dellavedova and I feel would be able to drive and dish, get guys more involved than Delly can. He is also a guy that can create his own shot, unlike delly. Some idiots say, well the cavs don't need delly to score they just need him to move the ball around and provide hustle. bull. The spurs showed that a team is harder to stop when multiple guys can do multiple things out there. I've never been a fan of having guys be "role" players and limiting what each guy on the floor can do. Blatt puts out some poor lineups on the floor and I've not been really impressed with his offensive sets. He needs to be fired right away instead of letting this stuff go on. He's never coached in the nba before this year and it shows. I don't care how good he was in Europe. There's a big talent gap in European basketball and nba basketball. IT's like saying that a guy that's a good coach in college(pitino for example) will be good in the nba. More often than not it's proven to not be true. Blatt's also killing his stars as he is playing them too many minutes. I've heard from guys that followed him overseas that one of the biggest knocks on him was that he played his starters too long. Doesn't look like he's learned or is changing.

1. Have you seen Haywood try to run? Sure, he's tall, but can't move at all. Kirk might get some time, but isn't some hidden gem being overlooked.

2. Blatt didn't sign Varejao's contract.

3. It's a single game after losing a starter. Of course the rotations are going to be a bit off.

4. Going small is definitely something that should be experimented with, though obviously it didn't work great last night. Rebounding in that lineup isn't actually that bad, it's the defense that would be terrible.

5. Complaining about crazy lineups but want more AJ Price? Sure...

You're overreacting.
