by King Stannis
The banged up Cavaliers visit Charlotte in the hopes of snapping a three-game losing streak. The Cavs lost LeBron James for two weeks due to nagging knee soreness and Kevin Love remains a game time decision. The Hornets will be without Al Jefferson.

Carried by NBA League Pass and Fox Sports Ohio.

Keys to the Game:

1. Kevin Love plays.
2. Get something out of Haywood.
3. Bench steps up.
4. Hit open shots.
5. Play Le Defense'.

Love needs to be the number 1 option while Lebrons out and 1b once he's back.

What happens when a team that can't defend plays a team that can't score? Is there a parental guidance warning before they air the game?

Waiters cannot shoot open threes unless he's in the corner. Misses every time

It's the Hornets. A blow out will be a 10 point loss.

It's be nice if we played with energy more often. Waiters plays at a snails pace...

This team is so unbelievably bad. It took to the final seconds of the fourth for love to get a shot. Kyrie and waiters just continued to take bad shot after bad shot. Neither of them should take anywhere near as many shots as love. He does need to be more demanding though.

Our offense had really gone down the drain, it was really good at the beginning of the season but now we can't score, defend or rebound

Nobody listened to Blatt when he wanted a timeout earlier.

Abysmal shooting from both teams... But at least the Cavs won.

First win of the season without LeBron.

Waiters and Irving had a lousy 4th quarter but Love not getting the ball is actually on TT. Bismack was helping off of TT when Love was trying to post without the ball. TT has to clear the area and move away from the rim. Set a pick on the perimeter or something. Love had 15 FGAs and 10 FTs. That's 20 shots. He didn't get frozen out.

Good win. Agree that we HAVE to find a way to get Love the ball. This has been a struggle for Waiters and Kyrie since they got in the league. Neither of them have really had the low post presence that we have now in Love, but they have both consistently refused to get the ball in the post when things get tight. Blatt needs to enforce his will here. Love is a stud. Get him the ball.

Otherwise, proud of the effort, and Dion continues to really play well. Great to see.

Kyrie and waiters were 16-48 and 8-10 from the line and Love was 9- 15 and 6-10 from the stripe. That can't keep happening or we'll never be a halfway decent team. It's not just the shots its the constant ball stopping and dribbling at the top of the 3 point line. They both either want to shoot or drive and create a shot off one pass and don't realize multiple passes and ball movement is what opens up the best shots.
I don't get it because our ball movement was actually pretty decent to start the season. The ball stopping was a problem all game but it just goes into overdrive in the fourth. They need to realize who the better scorer is and Love needs to grow a pair and demand the ball.
