Sounds like it's Shumpert, Smith, and Dalembart to Cleveland.

My thoughts as well. Would have MUCH rather have kept Dion if thats the piece they really wanted.

We traded Dion for an older Dion? Griffin is a trash GM. Overpaid for Love, gave Zeller/Sergey/picks to dump a decent contract and just traded his main trade chip for JR smith.

So I think we get shump , dal and smith back. Helps with depth but none of them are good. Wish we were more patient.

Farts right, griffin is trash.

So far it's:

Out
Waiters
Amundson
Kirk

In
Smith
Shumpert

There has to be another trade in the works or more to this that we dont know about. We cant possibly trade away two more bigs in this trade without getting more.

Decent trade for you guys.. Shump alone is a much better fit than Waiters. Daly is the smallest, flimsiest band-aid center in the league. Smith is problematic, but there's a chance you can find a taker for him in a 1-1 swap and get back another big..

Gotta give it to Phil. Anytime you can trade JR smith and get ANYTHING decent in return, you win the trade.

Do the knicks have their pick this year? How do we give up waiters for JR and not get a pick in the deal?

My New Year's resolution was not to drink on the week nights and get in good shape. Cavs just killed it.

Waiters is as bad as JR.
But at least JR knows his role, he wont make complains in a locker room with vets about playing 6th man and do his thing.

Looks like we'll have to pick up Dal off waivers.

Knicks got cap relief

And.... We give waiters to okc for NOTHING. They are already a top two team in the league.

So Knicks free up cap space for the summer AND get a 1st. I am no fan of Waiters, but this trade is absurdly terrible for the Cavs. It would have been better to trade waiters straight up to OKC for that pick and dangle it to a rebuilding team for a center. This is absloutly mind boggling.

So the Knicks got a 1st from OKC?

Why couldn't we be more patient and look to Denver for a trade? Way better pieces.

How the **** did Knicks trade smith and get a first. **** this team

Obviously. But we don't have the assets to get anyone good at this point. It's hilarious how over the course of the last 7 months we went from a team with a deep young roster with a lot of trade assets to a team that gave up their all their assets and promising young prospects to overpay for kevin love and fill the roster with a bunch of washed out scrubs.
