Cleveland get Mozgov
"The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed in principle to acquire Timofey Mozgov from the Denver Nuggets for two first round draft picks.
Cleveland will send Denver two picks that it controls via Memphis and Oklahoma City and no other players will be involved.
The protections on the Cavaliers' first rounder are 1-18 in 2015, 1-15 in 2016, 1-15 in 2017 and it becomes two second rounders after 2017.
The Cavaliers are absorbing Mozgov with a trade exception."
Great move guys. A lot of people love to talk about Cleveland's front office but this is definitely a championship move. I have no doubt in my mind Cleveland is going the right way.
Rooting for you guys, if you don't meet my Jazz in the NBA finals (doesn't look likely but Gobert and Favors are rocking the place!)

Thanks for the kind words.
I agree Mozgov should be a pretty big step forward for this team. He's versed in Blatt's aproach, and fills one of the team's biggest need. Looking forward to everyone getting healthy and coming together.

Blatt's still clueless and will continue putting bad lineups out there. He'll probably never use haywood now and will only use mozgov as the rim defender. This will still leave the cavs thin inside.

Haywood plays like Frank the Tank with the dart still in his neck.

Re: Cleveland get Mozgov
What are you talking about? He has looked solid when he's been out there and looked good last night in the first half. He had a block, altered several shots and provided solid rim protection. I guess you'd rather see guys continue to bully an undersized front line of love and Thompson. "Oh, but we have mozgov, now" you idiots will say. Yeah, but he's only one player and what happens when he's out? It's back to the same issues. Blatt has the basketball IQ of Dion Waiters.

Was it really necessary to call everyone idiots?
I'll admit I have been surprised with Haywood's play this season... I still think he is much closer to the hilarious Frank the Tank example then a solid center, but he's not bad for your 5th big. If you dont like the minute reduction he's about to get with the addition of MozGod, youre surely going to hate it when we sign another big too.
Cant wait to see what we do with his contract though.

Another thing with Haywood is maybe he's still not capable of playing significant minutes. He did look ok the other day but for the most part he's been bad.

Calm down, friend.
No name calling necessary. This isn't the Miami board after all.

What are you watching? Haywood has provided better rim protection than 6'9 Tristan and undersized and soft love. If he's useless then why play guys that are more undersized than him out there? You've yet to make any sense.

He's 7'0 and can provide better size and length to alter shots than what the cavs have out there. Whats funny and stupid about that? a 6'9 Thompson and a 6'10 kevin love are better options than Haywood? THAT'S stupid. And he has produced when he's been out there more so than the guys that cavs have had out there. Did you even watch the game and have you been watching when he's been in. Even the commentators have mentioned his rim protection and have said they want to see more of him out there.
Guess you guys are as dumb as blatt.

In what way has he been had? Are you saying that he provides less rim protection than love and Thompson? His length and rim protection is all the cavs need him for and so far he's been good at providing that. The problem is he never plays and then you have idiots that complain that the cavs don't have a rim protector. Well, yeah, no ****. That happens when you barely use the biggest and tallest player you have on your team. I'm telling you guys to watch that the cavs are still going to get abused at the rim because mozgov is not going to be able to play 48 minutes a game. Not only that but I bet he never uses haywood now and we will really be back to the same issues. He does not understand balance and how to put the right rotations on. Stay stupid guys. Just maybe you'll all wake up when the cavs are still not a great team in the coming months.

Because size isn't measuring point on someone's ability to impact a game of basketball. You've yet to make any sense.

lol the problem is your level of comprehension is that of a (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Yes, height gives a player better ability to affect shots and block drives to the rim. The fact that you're having problem understanding this shows that you don't know much about basketball. David Blatt, is that you?
