They need to go at least 25-12 the rest of the season in order to reach it. What do you think?

I was wondering the same thing about two weeks ago and now we know the answer. If healthy yes!

25-12 seems pretty reasonable if everyone is healthy. I'll go with yes.

In the last 20 years the lowest play off seed that has won the title has been a 6 seed and that was the Rockets 20 years ago.
Every other winner has been a 1,2, or 3 seed.
11 one seeds, 4 two seeds and 4 three seeds.

History says seeding does matter.

To think there was once real drama around this question. Now that they've gone 17-5 since this thread started, now they only need to go 8-7 to reach 50. Barring an injury to LeBron I don't see any chance they don't reach 50. So, is there a chance that they'd go 13-2 and get to 55? Imo the only real thing stopping them is the likelihood that there seeding is secure.

Magic, Heat, Nets, Pacers, Bucks, Memphis, Nets, 6ers, Heat, Bulls, Bucks, Celtics, Celtics, Pistons, Wiz.

yeah 13-2 is possible... dropping those 2 to either Memphis, Wiz, Bulls, or a customary random bad team like 6ers.

Most likely they finish with 51-53 wins and the second seed. If Chicago stays at fourth, there's a reasonable chance they get homecourt for the whole conference... and an outside chance they even get homecourt for the Finals (San Antonio, Oklahoma City?). History used to make their odds look weak, now it no longer does .

My guess is 53 wins. The only game left where we're not the favorites to win is against the Grizzlies in Memphis.

Don't forget that before the playoffs there's that few game stretch where the bench plays to rest the starters.

Yup, technically the Cavs should be able to run the table but I'm sure folks will be resting and they are going to make a more concerted effort to get all cylinders working which means more shots for some folks who haven't really been as productive as they'd like.

GSW with 63 wins with 5 games to go, amazing.

ATL 57 wins with 6 games to go, judging from the hype you would've thought they won more.
