Outsider Thompson question...

Post#1 » by Smitty731 » Mon Feb 23, 2015 4:09 am

I haven't see enough of the Cavs to notice if this is happening or not. I know Thompson was working on shooting with his different hand (I want to say left to right, but maybe have that backwards). Is that still happening? Just curious. I thought that was an interesting story when it came out.

Thanks!

Yeah he's completely changed his shooting hand since beginning of last season. Still really can't shoot to save himself but his form is a lot better. He never really shoots in game jump shots but his free throw form looks a lot better and i think has improved, but probably only marginally % wise.

Just checked the numbers and he got to the line a lot last year and shot a higher % but looks like he's fallen back to what he was shooting the previous year this season. So i guess it hasn't really made that big a difference even though it looks better.
