It is only fitting that LeBron's first series back is against the Celtics. ^^

No Friday and likely no Saturday night games? That's interesting/disappointing. Downtown Cleveland would have been crazy for a weekend night game.

I'm not taking the Celtics lightly or looking past them, but this has to be a sweep by the Cavaliers.

I think it's important the entire eastern conference knows right away we're not getting beat and that the lack of playoff experience isn't an issue. Losing to Boston gives them and everyone we play later something to look at, talk about, second guess and point to. I don't even want to hear it!

Blatt tightens up the rotation, Lebron absolutely abuses Turner and the Cavs team out rebounds Boston by a large margin.
I think Lebron's puts up 40+ the first game in Boston.

Celtics fans think they got this, why are they so delusional? seriously.

Only game the C's win is game 4 if we don't show up to play our best. Then it'd be over in 5.

Stevens is being hailed as a top 3 coach and it's absolutely ridiculous. He has done well with the team, but let's slow down here. It's way too early.

Celtics fans are mighty cocky too but they'll be eating some humble/teary pie while their team goes fishing after round 1.

They seem to think this series is going be easy or something. They big up Stevens and that's fine. But come on Blatt is no slouch. Yeah he had a hard time adjusting earlier in the season but the team is backing him all the way. I'm going to say sweep mainly because they are too overconfident for a EC 7 seed full of role players no one wanted. The big 3 and role players will prove too much too handle. I am a Celtics fan and sure some Celtics fans are delusional but even on realgm which is full of Celtics fanatics, over twice as many Celtics fans expect the Celtics to win 0 or 1 games in the series than actually win the Series. Please don't vote in that poll since it obviously skews the result but Cleveland should obviously win this series. I expect Cleveland to win it in 5 games but I do think the Celtics have more of a chance to take the series to 6 games than lose it in 4.

As long as the Cavs stay healthy, I don't think it matters that much if the Cavs win this series in 6 games or 4 games. I realized 2015 Cavs are >> 2013 Knicks that won around 54 games but this Celtic team is better and much healthier than that Celtics team that extended the Knicks to 6 games. No player is as good as 2013 KG but the Celtics first 10 players are all legit NBA players.

If the Celtics were playing any team in the EC other than Cleveland or Atlanta, I wouldn't be surprised if they won the series which speaks to match ups and the poor quality of the EC. In the WC, I suspect the Celtics would only have a decent chance of beating the Pelicans. But the Celtics should have an awfully difficult time containing Lebron since they don't have a rim protector or a truly elite SF defender. And Cavs do a good job spacing the floor.... Celtics perform better against teams that can't space the floor that well.

Knocking off the Celtics will just be an added bonus going into the next round... Don't care what players are in that uniform or what year it is ??? It is nice that it's the first playoff series since our last and we can just end their season along the way...

It's always nice watching the lower-seeded teams play with grit and energy. Nonetheless, the Cavaliers have seized two crucial wins at home and will head to Boston to test their strength on the road.
