Bulls overrated?

Post#1 » by jbk1234 » Fri Apr 24, 2015 7:45 pm

Having watched the Bulls/Bucks series with Rose "back" it seems to me that their team is overrated. The Bucks are just a bad team offensively since trading Knight for MCW. They've been trending bad since mid season. They barely have a home court advantage when they play in Milwaukee. The Bulls should be destroying them but last night's game went to double overtime.

I think the Cavs are going to take them in five games (six if Blatt plays James Jones and Delly too much). Thoughts?

Well, I think they are overrated but still rose has been playing well this series,
Also, It's not blatts fault for playing Delly and Jones, we have no backup pg and SF so next season this will be addressed.

Boston is no better than the Bucks, and the Cavs haven't blown Boston out so, I don't think a series with the Bulls is going to be easy. Boston has really only one tough player in Crowder, so their tough guy act last night wasn't going to win them the game. Chicago on the other hand is a much more talented and tough team.
Taj Gibson can match up with TT, and while I am not a Noah fan, he has enough foot speed to make life difficult on Love or Mozzy. I think the big difference in the series will be that Butler hasn't really been the man before, and he will need to be for the Bulls to win a series against the Cavs. The Bulls size and toughness are much more difficult to match up with than Boston so that alone makes a series with them more of a 6 or 7 gamer to me, with the Cavs winning due to Lebron's experience.

Both Snell and Duleavy can be guarded by Shump. I'd rather see Marion in there than Jones.

Most overrated team by a mile. Happens every year as well. People who actually think they are or were a contender at any stage this year really have no idea what they are talking about. As long as rose is on the books they'll never do anything.

I don't think they're overrated at all. I've been watching them pretty closely(the gf is a Bulls fan). Since Rose and Butler returned from injury, they've really come along strong down the stretch. Playing their best at the right time of year, especially if Mirotic isn't too beat up from the other day against MIL. I felt the Cavs were playing their best at the right time as well until seeing the KLove injury today. It was looking like a classic matchup with the winner likely to represent the East in the Finals.
