So far Cavs are -32 with Harris on the floor and +8 with Haws.

As a WCC fan I love to follow guys like Haws and Delly in the NBA. I'm watching game 3 of summer league right now (CLE vs MIL) and it is clear that Haws is the superior player. Better stroke, better foot work, better awareness, etc. Honestly, Harris does not look like he will ever be an NBA player.

Tyler Haws off the ball game (he's a great off the ball scorer/shooter) would be money with Irving and James running the show. He can spot up, come off of screens, and he would command a long 2/3 to defend him because of his mid-range/post-up game... which is huge because you don't want a longer player on Irving (or any other PG).

Harris is bigger than Hawes, but he doesn't have the athleticism to overcome the deficit in the skill/mental department. Would the Cavs release Harris in favor of a better player? or will they stick it out another year and keep him on the end of the bench?

I don't know man, Tyler Haws looks more like a guy that opens a checking account for you at a bank than a basketball player,

After watching the first game and checking the box scores for the next two I think Harris could be in legitimate danger of not making the 15 man roster. I don't think it will be Haws that takes his spot, but maybe Pointer.

I think his contract is guaranteed, so he should make it to pre-season. It will be interesting to see if Haws makes it that far, and how well he plays with the big boys. I think his game translates perfectly into the NBA.

Harris has been very unimpressive but still I might rather stick with him because he's at least proven he can play a little at the next level. I'm not going to give up on Joe after a few SL games.

Would agree, and now I think Cunningham will take the spot.

I think Jared Cunningham is a better fit for that last spot. Harris gives you catch and shoot 3's (replacable by Kyrie, Mo, Delly, Shumpert, JR, Jones, Jefferson, and Love). Cunningham gives you perimeter defense (replicated by Shumpert, LeBron, and maybe Delly). With LeBron effectively playing the point, you can afford a defensive specialist and Cunningham can harass (not stop) the Wall/Rose/Westbrook/Curry types for ten minutes a game here and there.
I wanted the team to pick Cunningham up after the Love trade last year, hoping he sticks this season.

Cunningham is terrible. His career BPM is an astounding -6.0. I'd rather go with Harris or Haws.
