Yeah I'm surprised. He was decent with us. When I watched the Clippers last year, he looked completely out of shape and just lazy overall compared to his stint here, so that's probably it.

Yeah who knows he was really good for us and terrible for the clips and now you.

Thx for the replies!

So I guess it's a contract year thing?

You guys got lucky. Spencer Hawes has me missing the Byron Mullens years.

Yeah that's probably the case. He's only 27, so I can't see any other reason he would suddenly off a cliff.

The Cavs used him the right way and he complimented AV/TT really well in terms of fit. If you aren't using him as a pick and pop player, his value plummets. If you can't put him next to an adequate defender in the front court, he's too much of a liability on that end. Hate to say it but he would have a good fit next to Biz.

Oh, just as we speak, the Hawes the Flawed era has come to an end, the lottery pick Kaminsky is ready to take his minutes.

He has been playing better lately but Big Al is gonna come back soon and he won't be playing much then.

He played 'better' against CLE by elbowing Lebron in the throat and getting out-angry-faced by JR Smith.

You need a grub on your team and Hawes is definitely that for Charlotte.

Probably a system thing. Is he being used differently?
