He's 33 years old. He got his big pay day that took him to $45 million in career earnings. Any income he gets playing professional basketball over the next two years will be subject to offset. The Cavs cannot resign him until July 1st, 2018. Here's hoping that he trades in his sneakers for loafers and joins:
Larry Nance is a special projects associate
Zydrunas Ilgauskas is Special Assistant to the General Manager
Vitaly Potopenko is Assistant Director of Player Development
Trajan Langdon is Director of Player Administration
Damon Jones is a Shooting Consultant
Lets welcome Anderson Varejao back as Defensive Quality Control Coach...
C'mon Cavs, get er done so he's on the court when you clinch the NBA championship this summer.

He can come back a year from today. It's a year or the end of the contract. Whichever is earlier.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Sorry we're keeping him
. Barbosa needs someone to hang with when the wives want a nice evening out.
On a serious note, great idea. I know he is well liked in the land, and is an asset to develop.
