The Cavaliers Will Win the NBA Finals: Favorites? or Underdogs?

Everyone is underestimating the Cavaliers. Again. People must not have learned from last year.

LeBron is playing with an efficiency we've never seen before, Love is on fire, and Kyrie has proven that he can be a second option, and has a hot streak heading into the championship.

Are the Cavaliers underdogs or favorites?

What do you guys think?

who cares about that. Let's get the game going. Cleveland complained we beat a depleted team 2 yrs ago, and the Warriors had their own issues last year. This year everyone's healthy, so let's get it going. No excuses this time on either side. This is the "rubber match".

Celts fan here. Really pulling for Cavs . I've never been a Lebron fan but I rooted like crazy for the Cavs last year in response to cowardly , filthy play by Green ,the showboating act of Curry, Klay Thompdon's cocky, stupid remarks that awakened the beast in Lebron( in my opinion) and most of all the ridiculous back to back MVP voting for Curry by the stupid media when everybody knows who the best player in the world has been every year for awhile now. Best player and most valuable to his team. They continue this garbage with not putting Cousins even on the 3rd team? Laughable. Media picking their binkies. The media makes the Nba look stupid and it's the only sport I care about.
So go Cavs. I can't speak for everyone ofcourse but at least every hoop fan ( in person) I've spoken with reluctantly is pulling for the Cavs for some of the same reasons.
Oh, plus the coward ( in a sports sense)that is KD.

Oh yeah and Zaza. How did I forget another coward. Pulling that Bruce Bowen crap. I've never wished injury on a guy but I definitely wouldn't feel bad for him.
Bowen made a career out of scaring shooters that they'll come down on his foot plus he had twin towers usually protecting the rim behind him. It's the most cowardly act in sports up there with purposely beaming a batter in baseball. Drives me insane. Please excuse me. 4 broken ankles in 5 years. Small college dreams dashed. Ha. Victim of such cowardice.

Expected teams to make it to the end... It was only a matter of time really. Now there are no excuses for either side. Definitely not going to be an easy one, since they added arguably the 2nd best player in the league. Let's hope that we can come out on top though. I personally thought it was over when the Warriors were up 3-1 last year.

Kevin Love is an albatross against the Warriors. I still think he's very good and we won the Wiggins deal. You just flat out can't play him against Golden State and expect him to contribute.

Tough loss but remember Cleveland was down 3-1 last year.

They have a few days to regroup.

Durant had himself a hell of a game, you gotta give him props.. The Cavs had way too many turnovers, something you definitely cannot do against the Warriors. Oh well, onto the next one..

Just realized that LeBron is 1-7 in game 1s in the finals.

The turnovers is what did it, shake that off and move on. I want to see angry LeBron out there, they need to get aggressive. Go Cavs

Bulls fan here, rooting for Warriors like most Bulls fans I know. LeBron is the most obnoxious show boater in the NBA IMO. If cocky is a big problem for you how can you cheer for someone who has 'the chosen one' and his birth year tattoos? ZaZa is obnoxious, but the rest of the the GS crew is more palatable than the Cavs (TT has gotten a bit more tolerable). You have to be kidding if you don't think Curry deserved MVPs when he got them. Nothing to do with the media or NBA which is obsessed with Lebron just as much if not more than Curry. No denying he's a remarkable player, but we can't help but still be bitter for years of LeBron flops and trash talk against us.

Not to mention they have the second best player in the world now, Kevin Durant. Harrison Barnes is no longer out there repainting the rims, and Curry is healthy.

Changes I would like to see in game 2:

Move Love to center and start shumpert over Tristan.

This lineup has a much better shot defensively.

Kyrie on Steph
JR on Klay
Shumpert on KD
LeBron on Draymond
Love on Zaza

Also give dahntay some minutes on KD and see how it goes defensively. It can't be any worse than the defense on him in game 1.

Also, stop conceding wide open dunks and layups to close out on shooters. Players convert wide open dunks at a much higher rate than they convert wide open jump shots FFS.

Go Cavs.

I also would ban JR Smith from dribbling and driving the ball, it looked pathetic in game 1. He has been a catch and shot guy all year, why is he trying to drive all of a sudden? Usually ended up in turnover or airball.
