Around The NBA

Stephen A kills me.
Yesterday: Stephen A was claiming the Porzingis rumors were started by Porzingis. Last night Phil comes out and says that they're really looking at moving him.
Today: Stephen A Phil is a disaster. I can't believe it. Yada, yada, yada...
Again Stephen A's sourcing is just flat wrong and he blows up at other people. Even accounting for the L.A. & NY bias that accompanies being a national host, his basketball acumen is awful. When he's just flat wrong, he attacks others with the hope that no one notices he was flat wrong.

Bulls are an embarrassment. More so than us.

I guess I don't see No. 7, LaVine, and Dunn as such an awful return for a guy who really shrunk under pressure against the Celtics after Rondo got hurt.

He was apparently injured.
They also gave up a draft pick. Terrible return to me.

What Bradley did him in that series scared me. I mean Cavs fans freak out because of how Love performs against the Warriors, but if we're being honest, Butler has yet to show he's capable of a great series in the postseason. I'm struggling to remember a great postseason game by Butler tbh. I think there might be some Lowry/Derozan issues there.
I'm more critical of who the Bulls took at No. 7 than the overall trade. If I were a Bulls fan, I'd be terrified of GarPax making picks in a rebuild.

The funny thing about SAS is that basketball is his specialty...as bad as he is about basketball, it makes me absolutely cringe hearing him talk about football

Well Chauncey declined the offer. BFD. I wasn't really thrilled with him being here anyway. No real experience at the job he would have been hired to do. I wonder how long he will have to wait for his next offer, if it ever even comes.

Chauncey's lack of experience was scary and I had doubts he could clean up the mess with the contracts of Shumpert, JR, and TT, plus no assets as far as draft picks. It will take a lot of experience to fix that.

Tyreke Evans for 3.3 million is what I saw. That is a steal. Cavs are falling asleep. Jeff Green is okay but I would have rather had Evans.

I don't think the Cavs have anything other than the $2 million to offer.
