2nd most exciting Cavs offseason ever?

Post#1 » by afarmenian » Fri Aug 25, 2017 1:24 pm

Obviously nothing in history will top the most exciting Cavs offseason 4 years ago. That notwithstanding this for me has been a clear 2nd. This is has been a treat with all the rumors speculations and then the actual activity that changed the core of this team. This very well could blow up this team and lead to a complete rebuild in less than a year but the possibilities for this season are endless.

The cavs have a lot of players a lot of motivation with playoff experience and we may not be done with the Melo and Wade situations unresolved. There are so many storylines and questions heading into TC.

Rose off the bench is going to be very very interesting. Maybe he really excels against 2s and is a 6th man candidate?
How will Isiah and Lebron play off each other?
Does Crowder start?
What happens to Shumpert and RJ?
Does that turkish kid contribute?
Will we get Jeff Green that always teases and shows flashes? Maybe he needed to play on a team with a championship culture.
Will Edy Tavaras or the Croatian kid get time at backup center?
Will we be a fast break team?
.Will they continue to experiment and play Lebron at center. LeBron Crowder Smith Rose/Wade Isiah.....wouldnt that lineup gas other teams up and down the court
Will they trade that 1st round pick.

I could literally go all day on how excited i am.

How is losing LeBron the first time not the most exciting/crazy offseason in cavaliers history? Opened up a whole new wave of player empowerment and also solidified his legacy with his first championship.

^^ that was not exciting for anyone in Cleveland but we are not that thin skinned as to be offended by that weak dig.
So pull your socks up over your knees and cover that hole

Yes. This was the best we could have done trade-wise.

We're better suited to take on the Warriors and we're one piece and a supernova series from LeBron away from pushing them to the limit.
